Alright, so boom. There I was in the comfort of my own home, scrolling through my phone as one does, minding my own business when all of the sudden, my big back senses started going wild! I know, I know you're probably wondering, "Caleb! What could've possibly caused this!?" Well, calm down and keep reading! I got you! I done seen thee most delicious looking slider concoction I done ever seen, an oxtail slider!!! I mean, this thang just looked immaculate!!! I knew I just had to have it! But surely it wasn't... HOT DAMN IT'S IN NEW JERSEY!!!!! However, it was 2 hours away. But did that stop my big backtivity? Of course it didn't! This is my food review! Pay attention! So anyways, my brother and I hop in the whip and make that 2 hour trek without hesitation. IT! WAS! SO! WORTH! IT! How can I even begin to explain how good this slider was? If I can only eat this for the rest of my life, I would be absolutely satisfied. Incredibly so. The tenderness of the oxtail, the amalgamation of flavor ESPECIALLY dipped in their homemade sauce was just chef's kiss!!! The sliders alone made the whole trip so worth it! Then I got to the oxtail beef paties, and oh my damn!!!! Again! Absolutely spectacular flavor of the likes I haven't had before!!! I followed that up some mango sriracha wings that were so damn delightful and I washed it all down with a delectable piña colada smoothie! On top of the insanely amazing food, the staff were all awesome people! So nice, friendly, and just genuinely good people!!! The whole experience was a million out of ten!!!! Even though it's a 2 hour hike for me, I will 100% be going back!!! I have to try their curry shrimp and every caribbean taco option they have!!! Seriously y'all, if you want your taste buds to become your taste best friends, then I highly, highly recommend checking this place out!!! Pina Colada Oxtail Beff Patty Oxtail with Mac and Cheese Jerk Chicken

You may be present be in Haledon NJ, but as soon as you explore this Jamaican cuisine you will feel as if you are dining on the island of Jamaica.

Owner Ralston, Manager Bianca and the cooks welcomed me into their take out restaurant where I indulged in a variety of homemade dishes.

Pina Colada : The frozen, slushy drink with a splash of rum chilled me to the core. It was quite refreshing; and if you are under 21, you can always have a virgin pina colada.

Oxtail Beff Patty: This patty was stuffed with both tender oxtail and beef while the flaky, outer crust had a light crunch.

Oxtail with Mac and Cheese: Of course, I can never get enough oxtail, which is why I couldn’t resist having it as a platter. The macaroni and cheese was loaded with cheddar and quite cheesy.

Jerk Chicken: The juicy jerk chicken has the perfect combination of fire and heat. You can never get enough jerk sauce with one of my favorite Jamaican entrees. Feel free to lavishly pour the jerk sauce on the entire plate; and save room for the cabbage.

As a bonus, this location also has a Jamaican market where you can purchase freshly made juices, frozen beef patties, and homemade ice cream with unique flavors ranging from coconut to grapenut.

As another bonus, there is a fancy dining area with a bar and lounge.

Feel free to show up for date night or the room can be rented out as an event space for parties, anniversaries or other memorable events.

I had a truly great experience exploring this take out spot. When I next return, I’m spicing it up to explore the fancy dining hall.

The customer customer service skills to this place is so abominable. The professionalism of the associates that work in this place is so abominable. I ordered off Uber eats. It says that they’re working on my order. My driver gets to the restaurant. The restaurant then calls me. States that they do not have any more mac & cheese. They wanna offer me something else. Mind you my entire order was curry chicken Which came with a salad and rice and peas. I also ordered a side of mac & cheese and a drink. They didn’t have the mac & cheese. So I told the lady I did not want her substitution. So she told me that I had to cancel on my side. Which is absolutely not true. The restaurant is supposed to let the customer know through the app that they are out of an item. The customer then can decide on a substitution or continuous the order how it is without that item. Or cancel the entire order. This lady had the nerve to tell me “ No, you have to cancel it. I offered you a substitution.” That’s not how it works. How do I go to a restaurant to buy something and the restaurant is going to tell me what I’m going to eat and not eat. When I told her you need to do it on your side I still want my food minus the mac & cheese, of course. The gentleman told the lady that was on the phone with me to just cancel the order.
