Visited this location on Sunday. Couldn't go inside as they didn't have help. I understand that as I also work with the public. However, it does not give the right for the manager to treat customers badly. I spent $50 on two dozen donuts and a box of Joe. We asked for cups, cream, and sweetener at the time of ordering. When we got the window there was no cups, cream, and sweetener. I asked for cups, cream, and sweetener a second time as well as for the receipt. The manager came to the window with the two dozen donuts and I asked for them to be put into a bag (we were on a motorcycle...common sense and customer service didn't come into play). He threw the donuts on the counter and told us to pull up front. When he came out with the donuts as well as the cups, creamer, and sweeteners I tried to talk to him about the way we were treated. He kept speaking over me and blaming the lack of employees on his behavior. As someone who works with the public and feel the pain of the lack of employees willing to work I completely understand his frustration, BUT that does not give him the right to be rude and throw a portion of my $50 purchase during his rage! BTW after his continued temper tantrums I had to walk back to the drive up to get my receipt. Read moreI've lived in Halifax for over a year now and only go to this location because it's the only one in Halifax and close to our house. The service is extremely poor. I think over the course of a year when I have ordered from there they have gotten my sandwhich right 1 time. I have no idea how you ask for a sandwhich to be on a French roll and they put it on a bagel? It has happened multiple times, there has also been multiple times when my egg is completely cold. I finally just stopped getting anything with egg on it. The weekend lady at the window always gives me and my husband an attitude when we ask them to stir the coffee. One day I asked her if they could stir my coffee and she flipped it upside down shook it for 2 seconds and handed it back and said "here". Not only is service bad but I have never had one polite conversation with any of the workers. They are always extremely rude and act like they hate their job. This is the first review I have ever written and the only reason why I am writing it and not complaining is because I have called 3 times now (I hurt my ankle so my husband went and picked up dunks to bring it back home, or else I would have gone in) and there has been no answer. Read moreThe last few times I have used the drive thru, they have not been able to scan my phone. They ask me to turn the brightness up EVERY SINGLE TIME. And EVERY SINGLE TIME, the brightness is all the way up. Today, I had a coupon for the "Free Coffee Wednesday", and they couldn't get my phone to scan. I told her I had the coupon for the free coffee, and asked how I would get it for free. She pretty much said I couldn't because she needs to scan my phone to "get paid" for my free coffee. I told her I was going to go to another Dunkin Donuts, and said "ok", then most likely threw away the coffee. I did go to the Dunkin' Donuts on 106 in East Bridgewater where they scanned my coupon first try and I got my free coffee.
