Santoro's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Halifax

Very disappointed!!!! My family and I love their greek salads however the last few times the girls over the counter/taking orders over the phone have been very rude and unprofessional. We called tonight, and “Karen” made it seem like it was a total inconvenience for her. She wasn’t paying attention while taking the order and kept having me repeat what I had ordered with an attitude like I was doing something wrong! I even apologized for ordering the four items because she made me feel so uncomfortable. It’s places like this that will eventually lose their business from having “Karen’s” taking the orders from customers. We only ordered four SIMPLE items and you would of thought we ordered the whole menu. Unfortunately they have lost our business and don’t recommend this restaurant to anyone when they employee mean people like her! Go to Nick and Angelos- great employees and amazing...

Today: Had a large $80 order for pickup and even tipped another ten. Got home and was missing a sub but nbd since I live down the street. When I picked up the sub we were missing after waiting about 20 mins for them to make it the girl at the counter said "just so you know this wasn't on the original bill." I said that's fine I'll pay for it and she said not to worry about it. After then leaving the owner came running out screaming that I needed to pay for it. I told him I had already offered to pay but was told not to. He demanded I come back in and pay. I did so even though I could've just told him to take it from the tip as this was extremely rude and unprofessional. But I paid anyways and will...

I hate giving a one star review. But- I judge a business, especially a restaurant, on its cleanliness.

I was working in the area and stopped in to grab a bite. I'll say- what I ate of the chicken Caesar wrap I got was good. What completely turned me off, and prevented me from finishing my lunch, was the state of the bathroom. Being in disrepair is one thing. This place was a filthy mess. Grime over every surface. Doesn't look like anyone cleaned this room in years. Don't bother washing your hands because the sink, door and light switch were gross too. I had to go next door to wash up.

I see that and I wonder what the state of the kitchen is.
