As self-proclaimed burger aficionado, I am always on the lookout for the best burger joints in town, and Burger Box did not disappoint.From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a warm, inviting atmosphere. I have been to this location many times on the way home from work. Cutomer service skills are highly lacking! I ALWAYS ask for UNSWEET tea! I repeat my tea no less than 2 to 3 times to make sure it is unsweet! And order my familys burgers and fries. The reason I repeat my UNsweet tea is because sugar literally makes me throw up and I get an instant stomach ache!! Today I took of big deink of what was supposed to be my UNSWEET tea, and it is a SWEET tea. I immediately spit it out and start heaving. The young lady working the window see's the tea sitting on the ledge and FINALLY comes to the window after having a sizeable conversation with the elderly grey long haired lady wearing a pony tail. The young girl just looked at me. I said I asked.for an unsweet tea and this is full of sugar. Please give me an Un sweet tea with no ice. She says NOTHING. Takes the tea makes a new one. Hands it to me with the rest of my order and says NOTHING!! I asked her if ketsup and salt were in the bag she still says nothing. After the young lady slammed the window she looks at the elderly lady Says something and they Both gave me nasry looks like I had done something wrong... Um EXCUSE me, YOU DID NOT MAKE MY ORDER CORRECT. I WAS NOT RUDE OR HATEFUL AT ALL. This is NOT the first time YOUR customer service skills are /were lacking. I know several people that no longet go to that location due to poor customer service skills. If you DONT like YOUR job and want to treat people with kindness GET A NEW ONE. Now if I was rude nasty and hateful I could completely se3 you both being hateful BUT I WAS NOT and people do NOT deserve to pay good money for NASTY customer service. Listen. I love Burger Box. I've eaten here since I was a kid. The Guac burger is awesome and I would love especially to come back to this location since it's close to my partners house and a great date spot- but the attitude from Wanda is genuinely absurd. Me and my partner came in to an empty restaurant, ordered our meals, sat down, and ate quietly. I knew I wanted Ice cream, but I heard the staff get 3 Doordash orders in quick succession (which Wanda loudly complained about) and several other customers had come in so I figured we could wait until things slowed down for them. When everyone seemed to have their food and the staff were free, my boyfriend and I went up to order ice cream before leaving and Wanda had the nastiest attitude. I mean, if you hate having customers order food at a place that serves food so much, why work at a damn Burger Box? We didn't say anything rude to this lady, we didn't have any issues at all. We just wanted to order ice cream, and this lady gave me a nasty glare for anything I did. She took the order just fine but went to scoop the wrong ice cream, and when I mentioned so, she was visibly annoyed that she had to go wash the ice cream scoop. Even patronized my partner as he went to pay for it. Completely ruined the vibe of our date simply because we existed as customers. The young ladies I've seen working here before were far nicer and would be much better suited for a customer position. The other woman working with Wanda must be a saint to listen to...
