Came here with my family after my sons graduation. It was something local to eat so we were excited. We ordered the eel roll, beef Hawaiian fried rice, and beef chow mein. When we received out beef fried rice I noticed something sitter across the beef fried rice plate. I quickly knocked off the bug, at first I thought it was a fly or something.
We continued to eat, and I told the lady there was a bug on the plate of the food. When I told her, I saw the bug and it was a baby cockroach. She squished it, then inspected it, walked over to the door, opened it and made it seem like it came from outside.
We ordered 2 sushi rolls. A crunch roll and a eel roll. The eel rolls cucumber was bitter, so we couldn't eat it, but we ate the crunch roll. I asked my girlfriend to maybe we should ask them to remake the eel roll and she said we shouldn't just get it taken off at this point. The lady never came back to check on us, there was no music, the sign outside said sushi and it was missing the other piece of the sign. There was an AYCE option but we were never offered it. The whole experience was going down the drain so I thought OK, remove the $7 roll and we'll go and that's that
The lady was gone. So the sushi chef was there and he gave me hell for asking to remove the sushi roll. I brought him the plate and asked him to try the cucumber from the other 4 rolls that were left, that I wasn't lying. He peeled a new cucumber, ate it, and said "I just tried them, we made rolls for multiple other people, you're the only one complaining"
I was baffled, I had NO Reason to lie. He removed both rolls off the ticket, and I asked him to put the crunch roll back on there because we didn't have an issue with it, just the eel roll.
I wasn't going to I post about any of this but waking up the next day I'm still pissed.
What would you rather do? Take $7 off or have me refuse to pay for my whole dinner because you clearly have a cockroach infestation you didnt know you had that was running on our food?
I didn't even want to make a big fuss about the baby cockroach because of the other customers that were in the store but you decided to make me feel like a liar in front of them because I complained about the bitter cucumber you fed us and asked to have it removed? The waitress DIDN'T EVEN Apologize when she killed the bug! Or offer to have...
Read moreI've been meaning to go to this place for almost a year now since I love sushi, I finally got the chance a few days ago. I ordered some tamago eggs sushi and squid. When I got there they had actually made me octopus instead, I was upset but realized it was my fault because I had my phone on speaker when making the order and it's hard to understand me because of that and at the time it was busy there.
I paid for the octopus and asked them to make me some squid too. Didn't take long and they gave me a cup of miso soup on the house. The Squid and Octopus were great and I have to say that was one of the best miso soup I had. It was the just right amount of consistency that I ended up placing it in a mug to sip from.
The place is small, basically a Hole-In-The-Wall joint which I prefer over restaurants. It's the perfect place to take a friend you haven't see in a while to or for when you want to go on a date with someone you just met, or if you're couple just wanting to get away from it all. There was a man and woman working the place and were very kind and sweet. I'll be coming...
Read moreI am throughly confused as to why anyone would rate this restaurant well or even decent. I wish I could give it 0 stars but that is not a possibility on the app. We arrived to the restaurant with only one other table occupied and waited over over an hour before any food was served. We were asked to move tables after being seated and they sat us next to bathroom. Judging by the horrendous stench, the bathroom had not been cleaned in quite some time. When it came time to deliver our appetizers they were incorrect and forgotten. We were not offered an all you can eat menu when they advertise having all you can eat (yes, we did call and make sure we arrived during the all you can eat timeframe). Our table was forgotten yet again after finally being served our food and then waited another 20 minutes before we had to remind the staff that we were needing to pay. I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone. The service, food, wait time and the smell are all ...
