Aladdin’s Shawarma — Restaurant in Hamburg Township

I usually don't write reviews because I don't want my business out there, but I need to make everyone aware. I was very excited to try Alladin food when the place first opened because I love Meditteranean food and tasted it both in the US and in Europe. I came to Alladin very hungry and ordered 2 meat shawarma's, 1 chicken shawarma, and a large hummus. Hadi, the person that serviced me, was a very polite young man. So here it comes. The 2 meat shawarma sandwiches were completely cold when I unwrapped them and were not toasted. The chicken shawarma sandwich was warm and toasted on the outside. This signifies that the sandwiches are pre-made and toasted before getting them. I was not getting the fresh hot beef straight from the roaster (there's a reason why its prepared behind closed doors😉). So disappointed! Next, the large hummus was much colder then in other places I ordered and didn't have the signature olive oil dripping on top. This also signifies it is pre-maid and refrigerated way before. I am aware that the Brighton area does not have many Meditteranean food places and many of you may think Aladdin's food is tasty. Me, on the other hand, am very disappointed and I will never go there again. Sorry Aladdin. This restaurant will never survive in a true Lebanese style...

Does anyone else notice anything suspicious about many of these google reviews????

Had two different chicken shawarmas. The laddy, which everything a normal shawarma would have plus hummus and fatoush, and a regular chicken shawarma. The chicken on both was incredibly dry. Almost like they used 100% white meat chicken. It was tough to get down and ended up throwing half of it in the trash. The laddy was a little easier to get down, given the fact that the hummus and fatoush added some moisture to the sandwich. I also got a side of hummus and pita. Might have possibly been the most flavorless hummus I have ever eaten. I’ve had hummus from the grocery store that is 10x better. Thankfully I got a side of spicy garlic sauce. Once I added all of that to the hummus, it actually had some flavor.

I stopped by this shawarma spot and ordered the chicken shawarma the laddy way and wow, it was 1 of 1! The wrap was absolutely packed, and every single bite was bursting with flavor. The chicken was perfectly juicy and seasoned to perfection, blending beautifully with the crisp veggies, creamy hummus, and that rich, garlicky sauce that ties everything together. It’s one of those meals where you can literally taste the freshness in every bite. The customer service was just as impressive. Friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming.
