UPDATE - I thought I would give this location a second chance at redeeming itself and it failed miserably. The fact I have to butter my own bagel is mind boggling. This time I chose to go through the drive-thru instead of going inside. The sign in the drive-thru states nothing about requesting the barista to smear butter or cream cheese my bagel. I called up to speak with the manager to be told this is “Biggby policy” to just put the packets and plastic butter knife in the baggy. Why am I coming through the drive-thru just to have to pull over and butter my own bagel that I just paid you for? I will be contacting corporate about this.
This will be the first time a Biggby location did not receive 5 stars. I refuse to go to Tim Hortons, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Starbucks because the customer service along with their products are just awful. I choose to spend my money with this company because the coffee is worth every penny and usually the customer service is out of this world. Yesterday I stopped into this specific location to order a large frozen cookie butter with mallow added. The young lady at the front seemed bothered to have to take my order and couldn’t care less about the gift I left the store. She didn’t even say thank you which in all honesty kinda hurt. Then she just tossed it aside on the counter instead of putting it somewhere safe to hang up later. I worked hard on that art piece to show my appreciation and gratitude to not only this store, but to the company as a whole. The drink tasted okay and could have been made a lot better. It seemed the focus was more on the drive-thru, rather than all of the customers who visit. This was my first time coming to this location because I had no clue a Biggby existed so close to where I moved. I normally have to drive all the way out to Howell or Brighton area to find a Biggby. I will give this place one more chance and if the service and quality of my drink doesn’t improve, then I will just spend extra money in gas and my time to get the drink I am paying for and that too both customer service this company...
Read moreThis used to be my go to spot for coffee. It’s the closest one to me. But now I purposely avoid coming here. They used to make a lot of money from just my orders.
The people that work here are kind and hardworking, but whoever the owner is very stingy. She purposely makes sure that coupons are not placed out so that people don’t pick them up. You have to ask for a coupon on your own and when you do ask for a coupon, your told that you can’t use it until the next time you come in….but I’m never offered a coupon unless I remember to ask, which I don’t think is the norm. How the owner conducts her business doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Every other Biggby I go to does not have this type of stingy policy in place. They go above and beyond to make sure they treat their customers well, and not just as dollar signs. I literally used to spend at least 8 dollars a day here, that’s over 200 dollars a month! But now I only come here if I’m in a serious bind, and with Starbucks inside of Krogers, I won’t even be doing...
Read moreWhile it's nice for the community that this location hires high school kids to work there, it would be advised to maybe train them to do their job. Today there were 3 high-school aged girls working by themselves with no supervision. Our entire order was wrong, and there was no resolve. Also, it seems odd that the coffee beans they sell to grind for the bulk coffee taste nothing like the biggby coffee you buy preground. It makes me wonder if they're selling cheap bulk beans and passing it off as actual Biggby coffee? I don't know if this is the case, but I can tell you that the "Biggby Best" you buy at this location tastes nothing like the "Biggby Best" you buy in the Biggby bags preground. It's really unfair to the young people working here that they don't get the proper training. It's not their fault, it's...
