Ordered for delivery, website was was easy to use and had options for customization on the orders which was nice.

I'm a pretty basic guy when it comes to Chinese food , a guilty as charged boneless BBQ spare rib lover, and I'm always looking for that perfect order. Chasing it like some sort of fever dream. And I have to say this place impressed me, the flavor of the ribs was fantastic. The quality of the meat was great and the cook on the meat was awesome with just the right amount of char and crunch and everything. The pieces of meat come surprisingly large which is a little different but honestly it worked, would absolutely recommend this place. The picture is a little deceiving because I ate like 90% of it, I literally couldn't control myself before snapping a picture.

The general tso's chicken, extra spicy, was actually extra spicy and it was actually delicious. Very pleased with this as well.

Mediocre would be a charitable phrase to describe the food served here. While the dumbing down of Chinese food has been going on for decades, within mile or two you'll find some other chinese takeouts that are both better and also cheaper. This place changed hands a few years back and they promptly added a dollar or two to every dish on the menu and actually managed to prepare the food even worse than the prior owners. So now, in September, 2020 I tried it again. Well the prices are even higher and the food perhaps worse....

EAT THIS FOOD!!!!!!!! Best Chinese food in town! Great attitude as well as hustle from the employees. I have been to most of the other Chinese restaurants in town and have found that GoldStar is the best. The food always tastes good and they do a good job of communicating your order to make sure you get what you want the way you want it and if there is a miscommunication on the order they do their best to compensate you so that you will be happy enough...
