Went there for the first time today after a friend told me to stop going to Dunkin Donuts and try to eat real food instead. I usually cook at home, but when I do get breakfast outside, I want it to be real, not premade manufactured garbage. However I used to love DD coffee, that's why I kept going there, but I knew it was time to switch to a place with better sandwiches.

This place was AMAZING! The everything bagel sandwich was one of the best I've ever had, all the ingredients felt fresh and extremely flavorful, and the coffee was amazing too, in fact better than DD to my pleasant surprise. I was looking for a place during the holidays to get bagels for employees at work and my first visit was good … not great but good … wasn’t sure where to stand to place an order and everyone kept getting serviced before me but I went today on 1/13/24 to do the same thing … I purchased a dozen bagels and a platter as well as 3 specialty cream cheeses… my problem was when I went to get napkins … I took approx 20 .. they are small napkins … you would have thought I stole something …in that moment I learned I was not a valued customer and I do.not shop where I am not valued … I should have asked for the owner in that moment but I had to...

If you're looking for that quintessential NYC style bagel with the right proportion of inner softness and slight outer crispness, here it is. The owner literally hand rolls every bagel from huge blocks of dough before they boil and then bake. You can witness this as you walk in the shop. They have an efficient staff (no slow and entitled young brats who play on their cell phones while working) and the prices are good.
