We had an urgent need for wedding sandwiches and found Chiarello Deli after checking their website for the best options. In the end, we chose what we considered the top pick, and it did not disappoint. The sandwiches were fantastic—fresh bread, high-quality Italian meats, and flavors that stood out. This was the first time we purchased hoagies from Chiarello's. They write your order down and then hand you everything in a brown bag, thus you trust they made all sandwiches as you ordered. I was very disappointed when I got home and found that they put mayo on a sandwich that was supposed to be dry. I called the store and was berated by the employee. He said "with everything going on and people wearing masks and face shields, are you really upset about an error?" He went on to say "you have got to be shi**ing me, have you never made an error". So disrespectful and rude. I live 15 minutes away, there is no way I was driving all the way back to get the sandwich re-made. The other two sandwiches I purchased, which were correct, were not amazing by any means. The rolls were hard, not fresh at all. Needless to say, I will not return to...

Chiarello’s is hands down the best sandwich shop I ever been to. Some of the staff are not the friendliest in the world. (When you say your sandwiches come with lettuce, onion, tomato, oil & vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano - don’t cop an attitude when I say I want everything on it but tomatoes then proceed to ask “do you want lettuce”, “do you want onion”? I just told you everything but tomato. You ought to know what you put standard on every sandwich!) Even though they can sometimes be rude and impatient, the sandwiches are totally worth it.
