I’ve been to Moo’s Landing twice now. First visit was walk-in. There were three or four people ahead of me and I waited about 20 minutes for a single shake, even with five or more staff visible. They were working, but at their own pace. No urgency. The shake was okay, but the flavor balance felt off. Not worth the $8+ price.
Second visit was through the drive-thru. Only one car ahead of me and two employees working. Waited about 5 to 6 minutes, which was better but still not fast for a single shake. This time the flavor was on point — solid 50/50 chocolate and vanilla. It’s the same order I got last time, so it shows inconsistency but potential.
Service was low energy both times. Not rude, but definitely not friendly or welcoming. The uniforms were clean and looked fine, but the shorts undercut the premium feel. And with a name like Moo’s Landing, I expected a little fun or personality — even a basic greeting or playful theme. There was none of that.
If you get the right person making your shake, it can be really good. But the overall experience still feels like a soft opening, not a polished $8 ice cream stop. They’ve got potential, but they need to tighten up the service, speed, and consistency if they want...
Read moreWe waited a year for this place to open and once it did. we have not been disappointed yet. The people in the reviews talking about pricing...I'm not sure where you've gotten ice cream lately, but the prices at other longtime ice cream stands is much more. And to those complaining about them closing when they ran out the first week they opened, shame on you. They likely didn't expect the turnout they got. At least they closed early and didn't make you wait in line to tell you they had run out.
That being said, everything we've gotten from Moo's Landing has been incredible. The wait times haven't been long when we've gone and everything is fresh. Portion sizes are similar to other stands in the area. The staff has been friendly every visit. It's a great addition to this part of Mays Landing. Most of us understand a new business and growing pains, so most of us will give a little grace when there are hiccups. Welcome to the...
Read moreI gave moos 3 separate chances and each time it was horrible. the service is slow, the prices are high, and the ice cream is below average. I ordered a milkshake 2 out of the 3 times and BOTH of them were straight liquid, felt like I was just drinking milk. They only had 2 employees working on a busy Saturday night I don’t know if the owner is just too cheap to pay more employees or what but these poor girls were in over their heads which then lead to poor customer service. Waiting over 30 minutes for 2 items. You will be better off going literally anywhere else to get your ice cream fix. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but I refuse to ever return. 3 strikes...
