Roti Plus Caribbean Restaurant — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

I was in the area conducting business and decided to stop instead of going to my favorite Annies Roti or Bamboo Grill. The short man at the register was rude and lied right in my presence. I was on line and the couple in front said they hadn’t decided what they want and I should go ahead and order. I approached the short man and ordered. After 15 minutes of waiting for my order, I saw the short man going towards the couple and served them their order. I stopped him on his way back and informed him that I had to go and if I can get my order. He lied and said “they were there before you and you jumped the line.” I reminded him he saw when they told me that I could go ahead and placed my order. He then corrected himself without an apology and said we are very busy right now. I would never return there because of his lack of accountability and he has zero customer service skills, and rude on top of that. The doubles were ok and I have had better at Annie’s

Your response shows how ignorant you are. Since you are new in the business, let me school you about customer service. you don’t reply with negative remarks. What I said is the truth and I wouldn’t waste my time posting it if it wasn’t what I experienced. You are dishonest. I was on line and not invading anyone space as I am one who always stays far away from people in the event someone coughs and catch Covid. I guess my description of you strikes...

People! Let me tell youuuuu!!! I am not in any way shape or form exaggerating about this food being the BEST TRINI FOOD I HAVE EVER TASTED!!!! The ingredients are obviously extremely fresh! No short cuts whatsoever. The meat is obviously top quality. Tender, perfectly seasoned to the point you're so full but can't stop eating. The restaurant is immaculately clean, the Customer Service by the owner himself was welcoming, inviting, warm & kind. The location is in a nice area with free head on door to door parking. Now as for the Roti....all I can say is buttery & out of this world made with pure LOVE as the main ingredient. You must go support this brother! Take your family there, friends, co workers, etc. I mean you won't have any regrets!! I rate this place a 100%!!! I am a 1st time customer in NO WAY affiliated with this business. I just had to talk about it because this right here...is genuine cuisine! The prices are way better than other similar restaurants that charge $22.50 for a curry goat platter that cuts corners and can NEVER COMPARE TO ROTI PLUS. Please, don't take my word for it & try it. I'm a Puerto Rican great cook who uses quality ingredients when cooking. Roti Plus is #1 compare to my own cooking. I better stop now because I will fill this page praising this place & get banned...

The owner for this restaurant is very insultive and has a bad attitude towards customers. Myself and hubby was there for the first time to try out their food. We ordered buss up shot, dhall puri and aloo pie, was told by the staff it will take twenty minutes. We waited thirty five minutes before inquiring about the status of our order from the owner who was at the register. He gave a flimsy excuse why it took so long. He later came to tell us that in five minutes we will get our order. My husband just nod his head acknowledging him. When our order was ready, he came to cash it and started to abuse us and tell us to take our business elsewhere as he don't make money from selling rotis. The customer is not always right that our attitude was bad towards him as we supposed to say thanks as though he was doing us a favour when we are paying our money. He also said that he would have given us a discount but our attitude caused him not to as though we are hand to mouth. I would never ever go back there and would never ever recommend his restaurant to anyone. If you don't make profit off of items on your menu, don't sell it....
