Sabrina's Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Hamilton Township

I’ve been ordering from Sabrina’s at least once, sometimes twice a week for the past two years. I was having company over for my mother’s birthday and wanted to get chicken franchaise catered for dinner. I called the day in advance and specifically asked what the half tray came with, so I knew in advance if I needed to make anything. I also had someone else there when I was asking who could testify I asked. I was told by the young girl on the phone it came with pasta and dinner rolls. After my parents picked up the food, I realized there was no pasta. I called to see if it was accidentally left at the restaurant, which I was then told (by the same young girl) it didn’t come with pasta. I was so embarrassed and panicked because I had company over. My boyfriend had to go pick up the pasta, which they charged him $33 additional to the $45 we paid for the chicken. At that point, it was just as expensive as a full tray. I think it was extremely lousy and terrible customer service of Sabrina’s to charge us for this, especially because I’ve been a loyal customer of theirs for about two years straight. Ordered a salad with no dressing with grilled chicken -arrived with a light brown substance on it: the smell made me gag and immediately spit it out. Smelled like raw meat juice! Also ordered a side of broccoli- arrived chopped, but in a pool of oily liquid! So I could not eat my food. I asked them to please come and get it and smell the liquid themselves but they didn't want to. Going to have my friend smell the brown substance in case I get food poisoning. Olden ave. in Hamilton Nj has that problem now and then it seems- the owner refused to do the right thing and called me a liar instead! Wow I have never been so insulted! They must have gotten too rich to care about us regular folks. I am never buying food here again- I usually throw out whatever is inedible. The food was good, this review is more about the delivery. There is a section of the Slice app where you can choose to have the food left outside so there is no contact with the delivery person. I selected this option. Upon delivery the driver came up to the house, rang the door bell. They opened up the screen door and knocked on the door. Their mask was under their nose. I opened the door slightly and told them I asked already for the food to be left outside. If there are specific instructions left, especially during these times, they should be followed.
