As I was writing to Hamilton I sit on the park bench where there’s a monument of all the Civil War veterans that served in that day. Great place to relax and rest. And I got back on my horse a route around the block and I noticed an ice cream shop. Do you know I haven’t had an ice cream cone in over 20 years. I was wearing my normal riding clothes, and it may have interrupted a few that were sitting there enjoying their ice cream. Period I ordered my ice cream and I got the cone you know that you can eat and you don’t have anything left no plastic no trash no nothing best way to go. I was excited about the non-dairy options the first time I came. Then they changed them. When I asked what a couple of them were- because there are no descriptions- they couldn’t even tell me what they are. I took a chance on “Classic Cookie” thinking it was a sugar cookie or something. It was Oreo Cookie ice cream (I don’t like Oreos.) Suggestion: Make all your workers memorize the flavors with the ability to tell customers what is in them. Daughter ordered” Brookie” and got vanilla ice cream with fudge sauce and a couple small pieces of a brookie, but you couldn’t even taste it over the fudge sauce. Not as excited anymore...

You need to forget about all those stupid chain, ice cream shops and head to Hamilton, Georgia. This place is incredible. Locally owned and operated by people who know how to provide customer service. It has a nice outdoor seating area and the service is really quick. The treats are absolutely outstanding and nothing like you'll find in the chain stores. Plus it's a great place to stop on your way to pine mountain and other great places around Harris County. This is definitely worth driving a little bit out of your way to get to. If you are in Columbus or LaGrange, it is a great place to get out of...
