If I could give less than 1 star, I sure would! I grew up with Hardee's being right around the corner from my Aunt's house, who was a manger. Us kids used to visit there frequently. I have to say my Aunt set the bar pretty high of what to expect from fast food. I am not one to complain about small things. I have been sitting on this issue for a week, waiting for a response from the store manager. She was supposed to call me to speak about this situation. I am going to take a wild stab at it and say she did not want to deal with my complaint! So I will just make it public! I was traveling for work and to see family and friends. I stopped at the Hardee's in Hamilton, Al. When I walked in, all I heard was loud rap music coming from somewhere in the back. I brushed it off. I ordered my food, which was a mushroom swiss combo. I went to eat my lunch and my first bite, I noticed my burger was raw!!! I immediately took it back to the counter, and was very discreet and polite not to make a scene and to keep it low key. All of a sudden, as I was waiting on my new burger, the entire staff was looking at me and talking about me and giving me dirty looks! Really? What did I DO WRONG?!?!? I then got my next burger and it looked like just gravy on my burger and very tiny piece of mushroom in it. Not too mention the burger was now extremely well done and it was hard as a rock! I asked for a side of the mushroom gravy to put on my burger myself. As you can imagine, by this time my fries were ice cold!!! You thought I was asking for the whole restaurant! I did not have the guts to have my sandwich sent back again. Hard to tell what they would have done to it! Nope! Not doing that either. I then asked to speak to the manager, and when she came to the counter, she had ALOT of attitude and very rude as if I was interrupting her day! (While I was waiting at the counter for the manager you could see how nasty, dirty, and unsanitary the other areas behind the counter were). There was yet another staff member with her, a younger girl, who was looking at me very snotty. When I sat back down to eat my lunch, my stomach was churning and my anxiety was in high gear. I was being stared at, laughed at. I was so uncomfortable that I ended up not eating the food and knowing I was not going to get anywhere with the manager, I just left. I decided to take this higher. I spoke with someone, it was either their call center or corporate office, I am not sure but they apologized to me a few times and told me they would reach out the store manager and have her call me to resolve this issue.....NEVER GOT A CALL BACK!!! If we want a clean decent meal, DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I am so disgusted! OSHA NEEDS TO STEP IN AND TAKE A LOOK ON A SURPRISE VISIT!!!!! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AFTER...
Read moreThe Hamilton Hardee’s is in desperate need of improvement in the customer experience field. I have heard there is a General Manager by the name of April Campbell. My impression of her is rude with a you are beneath me vibe. Ms. Campbell has made customers feel uncomfortable while sitting using the WiFi. A customer should be able to sit and use the WiFi as long as it is not bothering anyone whether they order food or not. It’s clear that many customers, myself included, rely on the ability to use Wi-Fi to either get some work done or enjoy a more relaxed dining experience. This cannot be achieved if the customer feels unwelcome to do so.
Another area of concern is the noticeable turnover among the staff. It seems that Hardee’s has been letting go of employees more frequently than necessary, and this can have a negative impact on the overall service quality. A well-trained, long-standing team often leads to a better customer experience, as they are familiar with the menu, the operation, and can more effectively serve guests. Instead of firing staff, fostering a positive work environment and offering more support and training could help maintain a more competent and motivated team. Happy, well-trained workers translate into happy customers, and consistency in service is key to repeat visits.
The night time staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, which made the entire visit feel uncomfortable. They were not very friendly, and the service was slow even though there were only a few customers. The food, unfortunately, didn’t make up for the lackluster service.
My personal opinion is updated training of the General Manager as well as the night staff would result in a much better customer dining...
Read moreI love Hardee’s and Hamilton has some of the best employees at Hardee’s however one morning I come to get breakfast & I was the only one at Hardee’s. I sit at the intercom for about 10 minutes with no answer so I assumed maybe it was tore up and said “hello” no reply.. I waited about 5 more minutes & said “hello” again & I was met very rudely with a smart tone by the MANAGER April. I was stunned because why are you mad at me because I’m trying to buy food? So I replied & said you don’t have to be rude with me.. drove to the window.. was met with rude looks as she stood behind the lady handing me my food.. and wasn’t given any utensils or napkins ect (I’m sure she did that on purpose) so this should be the end of the story right? Wrong! About two weeks later APRIL tracked down where I work & come to my job (Mac’s) and asked the cashier where is the girl with the big lips (which I take offense too) and proceeded to say that I caused her issues on her job (I did not) so she was coming to my job to cause me issues & fight me! The cashier at my job passed the message to me & I called her job but she’s the manager so she wouldn’t let me speak to someone else! I will def press charges if April from Hardee’s tries to fight me & I will never shop at Hardee’s again! All of this because I said hello at the intercom? She’s not stable at all! I’ve also told the police about it just to be safe. Hardee’s should be ashamed letting managers seek out paying...
