America’s Best Wings — Restaurant in Hampton

I placed an order last night. Before I placed an order, I read the reviews. I seen that most of the reviews were a 1 star. I wanted wings really bad and this was the closest place. I decided to call them before I placed an order and I told them I seen all the bad reviews. I told them I would be inspecting the food before I pay for it, because of the bad reviews. I get to the store and they show me my food before I paid and it looked good. I ordered a 5 piece wing combo. I guess they wanted to impress me and threw in an extra wing, so I had 6. 5 out of 6 wings were good. The very last wing was just like the reviews.....cold, hard, meat was dark, etc. Still wasn't a lot for me to dislike the place until........ Today I go to work & out of nowhere I started to feel really sick. I ended up getting lightheaded and sat down on the job for a couple minutes. I got back up after a couple minutes, and started working. Not too long after, I fell out on the floor because I felt so weak. Then I started vomiting. My job ended up calling the ambulance. They checked my vitals and my blood sugar was at a high 156. They said the normal is 120 and below. This was the only place I ate from that day & my body has NEVER done...

On 2/27/2022 I went into the establishment and had a steak sub a large. This morning I had diarrhea & vomiting from the sub. I.call back this morning and was told I should have called yesterday. I asked for my money back and was told it was nothing they could do. It’s a bad establishment, that offers no responsibility for their bad food. I will never eat there again. Please be careful if you eat at this place, I am writing this review to keep others from getting sick, from this place. This location is off Jefferson ave in Newport News, Virginia. I will share with anyone about the bad experience I had and the operation took no responsibility. The sub was 9.00 and I asked for my money back and they declined. 9.00 was more important to them than to provide a remedy of giving me my money back. Nasty bad...

As I walked in, we were immediately helped, and we sat down. The seating arrangements were awkward and uncomfortable. The prices were fair for such poor quality food. I had gotten boneless wings with mild sauce. The wings were hard, and it was difficult to swallow my own food. The flavor was bland and over all the food wasn't very good. The french fries that came with the meal were less sweet than salty. I also got a chicken burger and specifically asked for no cheese, seeing as I strongly dislike it. I was given a sloppy mess of a burger with cheese. The chicken was very dry, and the lettuce was browning. Overall the food was not very good. The service was fine, and the atmosphere was just...
