M & A Seafood — Restaurant in Hampton

I ordered this food for dinner, last night (for family & myself) As always, the food is GREAT! I did, however, find a piece of metal in my fried okra. Which is the ONLY reason I rated it 3 and not 5 stars. The taste of the food was great. Quantity, great. Cooked perfectly (except the metal). Thank GOD I saw it before I put the fork to my mouth. I'm not mad because I know it's a piece of cleaning sponge/pad. I used to use those too, until I saw how they could come apart, now I use scrub-daddy or scrub mommy pads. So, I appreciate their cleaning their equipment. Just be very careful, M&A Seafood, because I PROMISE you, if I had swallowed that and it caused an issue, I'd be suing y'all lol, no lie! At least for medical bills. Prayerfully, I didn't swallow any that was hidden in the food. But, this was a 1st time experience with their food, so I'm not being a butt head about it. So I've gotten chicken wings and fries here a few times. One time I tried the crabcake and it was so greasy I couldn't eat it. Went about 2 months ago and ended up sick from my usual chicken and fries. Fast forward to today I decided to give it a another try and ordered my usual and added a crab eggroll. First of all it looked crazy. Took two bites and what do I see. A damn piece of hair. I immediately tossed it in the trash. Wasn't gonna make a huge deal out of it. I just knew that was my last time eating there. I still called to let them know what happened and told her that I threw it out and just wanted to let them know. She says ok thank you and then there was a moment of silence. I said are you gonna atleast apologize. This winch said oh sorry about that. It took everything in me to keep calm. I am at work and can't let them see that side of me....

I don't recommend this place to anybody The food was disgusting I didn't even eat it Took One bite of the fish horrible so I tried another bite from a dif piece still not right I don't even think it was the fish I asked for I originally asked for a pound of shrimp and a three-piece fish meal and they wanted to charge me $37. Total waist of my money even the fries were terrible waist of money had to go McDonalds so i can eat something on my lunch break. They need to be shut down.
