We live in Hanahan walking distance to this place and had been dying to have a morning off together to go check it out ! we were going to just get take out but the vibes were great, it was cozy, chic and cute in there and we felt super welcomed so we sat up at the coffee bar to look at the menu and just stayed to eat! David took great care of us and was super nice, all of the other servers were as well, all had a big smile on their face. They also gave us a sample of their coffee in cute little glasses. We ordered the burrito with yucca fries and the elote with refried beans. Everything was… INCREDIBLE! Absolutely incredible! I was absolutely blown away by the yucca fries! They were PERFECTLY seasoned and tasted almost like they were air fried not just regularly fried. I’m working on getting my man to agree to going back tomorrow! Haha cannot wait to dine with them again and am so excited they’ve come to Hanahan ! I highly recommend checking them out ! *adding edit to review as I’ve been back now two more times in the past week lol… The chai tea latte, fresh pressed juices and empanadas are all to die for ! Additionally, scarlet, Maria and Lander are amazing...
Read moreIt's like a New-Age Mexican Fusion! I loved every aspect of this restaurant experience. The complimentary espresso shot was so tasty and well-balanced! Every table that came in loved it, and everyone would cheers with the cute little cups while taking pictures and videos. Well done with this! I had the Kooben breakfast burrito, and it was flavorful in every bite! It was my first time trying the yucca fries, and I really loved the extra al dente bite to them. The fry sauce was great! I even dipped my burrito in it. I’ve also tried the chilequiles, and here’s a little hack to take this dish even further: get mole sauce on it! Thank me later. Please try the "Dark Horchata"—it’s espresso inside of horchata, and that’s the best invention for a drink! The servers are very attentive, and the ambiance is modern, cozy, and comfortable. Perfect for a date night, family night, or a quick lunch. It's honestly beautiful inside, and this is a must-try if you're into Mexican food! I’ll be back to try the...
Read moreThis is the closest you will get to an authentic Mexican breakfast or brunch experience in the North Charleston area with few minor changes to make it apealing to the local patrons. The portions are generous, and the dishes we tried were good. My 8yo loves chilaquilles, and even though he is a picky eater, he left his plate clean XD. We tried tlayudas, although they were ok, we will try something else next time as they were a bit ackward to eat. Café de olla is something you definitely should try in here, it is good. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. There is a good atmosphere, however the music was too loud for me, it made it difficult to have a conversation with my wife. The place gets packed, so be a bit patient to grab a table. Overall, we had an excellent...
