Came into the KFC in Hannibal, MO, one hour before closing, and since it was too late to eat on the buffet, we ordered two $5 Fill-up chicken tender boxes. I asked the counter person if the strips were a good size, and not small and scrappy? He assured us they were, and we paid for our order. When our order arrived and we looked in each box, we were appalled by not only the overall size, but also by the incredible thinness of each strip. I took them back to the service counter and asked to speak to the manager. He told me that was the usual size of their strips. They were not going to be enough for a decent meal, so we added an order of livers that they informed us would have to be cooked fresh. We tried to eat the tenders, but they were sooo thin that the meat was dry and the outer coating was cooked beyond "crisp" to crunchy hard. They were not edible. The livers arrived, and while they were not overcooked, they had been fried in oil that clearly had not been strained and cleaned. The livers had almost no coating on them, leaving them burnt looking and pretty tasteless. The biscuits were not even warm and terribly dry, but at least we could excuse that to the time of night! I don't think we have EVER been more disappointed in a KFC meal! We do not create scenes, but we made it very clear we were unhappy with the food in our order. We were told they were sorry we were unhappy, and they moved on to breaking down for closing time. This visit for us was a fail on all points... smiling friendly counter service, reasonable portion size, properly prepared food, and a commitment to having happy satisfied customers. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe car in the drive-thru ahead of us drove off and anger and then we were given our food The girl that gave us our food rolled her eyes when we asked her about the order why it's not being a combo we said we wanted 3 combo's that come with a 10-piece sauce chicken fries a biscuit and a drink for $9.99 she said we didn't ask for a combo but yet when I was in the drive-thru at the order station I was asking about the combo and that is what I ordered she proceeded to roll her eyes again and got her manager her manager had severe irritation and anger when she got to the window and said what do you guys want I proceeded to tell her that the young lady that took my order got the order Miss confused and I was willing to pay the extra to make the order right she said well you're going to have to just get out of line I'll have to do a refund and you'll have to just go back through the line and then she shoved the bag back in my hands and slammed the door in my face another manager came out of the office after hearing all this asked if everything was okay I told her what was going on and she said well we can make this right this time and then turned around and slammed the door in my face again without even hearing the rest of what I had to say she handed me a bag of fries no biscuits so I got the three combos minus the biscuits which is not a big deal but the customer service is definitely a big deal that is what drives the company! Why no ice bro? was it too expensive? They constantly forget to include napkins. its not just a 1-time accident as they have done this consistently every week for the last 2 months. Guess they cannot afford napkins and have to dial back the hospitality to pinch a few pennies out of the customer. The food takes 30 minutes to make even though its after 5pm and rush dinner time. Asked for sauces, was told they were in the bag. Plastic bag is clear(see through) no sauces. Would not give sauces. Chicken was not completely cooked or it was freezer burned, Wrong type of chicken in the box with my order. I ordered extra crispy and I got regular. Got mashed potatoes instead of french fries as ordered. They didn't even include a spoon for the mashed potatoes. Hilarious!! I didn't feel like going through the drive through again or returning the meal as it wasn't worth another hour of my time. Won't be going back to this place and I recommend no one else go until the management gets their employees together and have serious hospitality training. Also, I originally took this picture because I found the warning hilarious. But it appears after dark they are not supposed to open this door because the neighborhood is so dangerous.
