5 Stars! Here's why. I walked in with two friends. I see this big guy behind the bar and I don't know what to expect. Nick was as nice and welcoming as any bartender anywhere. He told us the history of the bar. He served us quickly and friendly. I told him that if we didn't have dinner plans, I would stay there all day. I saw a review commenting on the small restroom. No Children. [UPDATE 2025] I gave this bar five stars years ago, but if any place deserves an updated review, it is this extremely updated bar. The new owners are lovely people and they have done a wonderful job cleaning up the bar. I think they might even have taken down the no children sign... so my initial review makes no sense... Very cool place. We went for a few drinks and ended up staying all evening. People were super friendly and the drinks were good and very affordable. Only downside was that they didn't serve food, but there are a few places only a minute walk away and the bartender encouraged us to bring food into the bar. He was very helpful with advice and even got us a pizza when the restaurant next door stopped...
