Mariscos El Amigo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Hanover Township

The burrito my husband ordered barely had meat, my sons '2 Kids Burritos' meal was 2 tacos with meat n beans, if it's for Kids why did it have so much onions and that's not a damn burrito. We waited so long for food. I asked if we could get another basket of chips, 'it's not free but because you waited, I'll give it you'. A credit card fee plus 18%, and you still wanted a tip. Here it is your tip, you can't expect everyone to just stay quiet and take the service you give just because it's your job. I was polite with everything and said thank you still at the end even though we didn't enjoy it nor the food. I paid my bill because my boys did eat some and we did eat the chips. I was ready to make a manager call and just leave. Outside the fact that we tried to explain what happened, you didn't even ask what's wrong or how you can fix it. You stated ok and gave me boxes and the bill. Smh. Never...

I was really upset with the food and the customer service, the waitress didn't come back to check If we were okay, they took a long time to bring our food, it wasn't busy at all? The cocktail de camaron was really sweet and had no taste I had more tomatoe juice then shrimp, the burrito had barely any meat? Then I went to pay my bill and they told me that they include the tip in your bill if it's more then 6 people we had 3 separate transactions and they charged the tip in every transaction? We should have the choice to tip them or not for there customer service , if they're customer service wasn't good why should we tip them? I was actually amazed. Came here for the first time today to pick up food, and sat at the bar to enjoy some drinks and chips.

First, service was top notch from the moment we walked in. Then chips and salsa were fresh and tasty.

Secondly, the drinks were delish and server was very helpful. You never find good servers any more and he was great.

Lastly the food we took home, from the prepared oysters, carne asada tampiquena, nachos and camarines MOJO de ajo were amazing. I honestly couldn't complain about anything, even the rice and beans were super good.
