This is why I havenāt been back here in years. I thought Iād give them another try, and order a pizza and Margarita pizza. I called and ask about their margarita pizzaās. Since we know original Italian margarita pizza is Marina sauce , with fresh Mozzarella, with fresh basil. So I placed the order, specifying what I wanted to make sure they could do it. When I got it, the pizza was soaked in water on top. I couldnāt believe it! So the lady taking the order was nice, but she had misunderstood me, not sure how that happened.
So I asked for 3 toppings to make the margarita pizza. I got a regular cheese pizza, sauce with cheese. Then big large bone melted mozzarella on top, with cut tomatoes, that were soaked in water and ruined the entire pizza! I couldnāt believe it.
I went back in and said, asked if you can make the margarita the way I asked. She said, yes. So what I got is not what I ordered on the phone. She said sorry, we can make it that way. The owner or guy making the pizza came over and yelled at me! Saying you donāt know what you want do you! I was about to say, please donāt speak to me like that, but just said instead I do. I placed the order specifically asking for a regular marinara sauce, fresh melted mozzarella, and basil. I got something completely different.
So they made another one. She showed me, it wasnāt right again. I took it anyway. Cause I donāt want to start a fight with the owner, since he was so nasty and rude. I had a long day at work, and just wanted to get home to relax. The owner made it exactly what he wanted, and not caring what the customer ordered. He said, we only make it one way! So what was the point in taking my order, after I asked if it could beard this way. Anyway, I had enough and left. This is why in over the past 7 years I havenāt gone back in. This owner is still nasty & rude to customers. Thought things would change. I definitely wanted to give him a piece of my mind in treating people nasty.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe only pizzeria in Bethlehem that still makes the perfect pizza - as good as it was 40 years ago The oven is at the right temp. The hands making the dough are the hands of a pizzaola, who understands the science of such a seemingly simple thing to make. The crust is perfectly balanced, chewy and crisp, bubbles airy, unlike the majority of pizza places that take short cuts and don't use quality ingredients,,and often keep oven temps too low to make a good pie. The tomatoes must be San Marzano, as they should be, for that fresh and fruity sauce - and not too much - against the perfectly stringy and chewy mozz, creating that perfect harmony of artistry. The closest I've found to Joe's Pizza, NYC
I often question my reviews, but I am always happy with a slice from them. It tastes like what used to be the standard. Nowadays, everyone thinks they can open a pizza shop, but have no appreciation for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery rude guy in there making pizza. I went there to pick up a whole pizza and after ordering, I decided to get a slice for myself..I stood there at the counter and waited for like 5 minutes while he was right there messing around with some dough.. I figured I would wait quietly, thought that he was just busy. A lady walked in and he immediately asked her how he could help her. I actually had to move out the way! At that moment I decided I didn't want that slice.. What's more, when my order was ready he practically threw it on the counter as he grunted "your pizza's ready". No "thank you", no "come again", nothing.. totally unprofessional. If I didn't know better I would say it was race related. Yeah, no, I DON'T...
