J & R Indian Head Pub — Restaurant in Hanson

We ended up here for lunch on a Saturday after picking up some used furniture from a home close by we saw in Craig’s list. I wish we had chosen another place. The bartender was very nice but she had her hands full with a very full bar of which all seemed to want to play KENO. We were wondering why it was taking forever for our food. She was running all around trying to keep everyone happy and in the meantime our meal had been brought out of the kitchen and sat at a side bar for a while so my pizza wasn’t hot nor was my hubby’s burger. Ugh we both hate cold food.. that did us in.. she definitely needed another hand. I am never in Hanson so I know I won’t go back but even if I lived closer I would probably try...

This place is OK. Not one of my favorite places are you normally only go there when my grandfather wants to go for a beer or some thing? Bartenders are always very friendly and usually are very generous with the amount of liquor they put in your drink always a good thing especially if you’re at that place. Most of the I shouldn’t say most a lot half of the customers that go there just seems so f**snotty and Yep the uppity. Not my favorite place for entertainment....

What a great joint!!! Our (Waylon Jennings tribute) band played a birthday party there for an 88 year-old regular whose nickname is "Red". The Indian Head Pub was packed with regulars on a Sunday afternoon and they were just fantastic. Kinda like "Cheers", but noisier (because of us).
