I just can't say enough nice things about this spot. As I sit here and savor the leftover crumbs of my apple/ ginger croissant from breakfast this morning, I am inspired to let the world know how I feel about this gem.

From the top... the pastries, 10/10. My dirty chai latte is consistently perfect time after time. No notes. I am always greeted with a smile and super friendly staff who gleefully whisper 'pumpkin spice latte' when the season comes so as not to blow my cover.

Truly, Front Seat is wonderful place to congregate, enjoy the local crafts on display from nearby artisans, and feel like you are not only supporting the local community but putting your dollars where they matter during these trying times. All should feel welcomed there and it's heartwarming to see all the ways that the ownership and team go above and beyond to support and welcome the diverse communities that make this little area so wonderful.

Ten out of ten.

And I just wanted to shout out the exceptional playlist every time I visit, it's...

Absolutely obsessed with this gem of a coffee and pastry shop! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warmest, kindest staff who make you feel right at home. The turmeric latte? Truly out of this world—creamy, perfectly spiced, and downright soul-soothing. And the pastries? Consider yourself warned: they're dangerously addictive in the best way possible.

The vibe here is pure comfort—quiet, cozy, and effortlessly inviting. Whether you're settling in with a good book, catching up with friends, or just enjoying some solo time, the atmosphere is ideal. They’ve thought of everything: shelves of games, great reading material, beautiful local art and goods for sale, and a variety of seating options to match your mood.

The service is outstanding—genuinely thoughtful and focused on making sure every visit is perfect. This place isn't just a coffee shop, it’s a little pocket of happiness. Can't recommend it...

I rarely write reviews, but I felt moved to. Stopped here, super charming place. Loved the accepting atmosphere and the products they sell. I had an iced chai latte, it was good. But it was the macaron that got me. I’ve always liked macarons, they’re cute and often taste good. But with this macaron (vanilla I believe?), I feel like I finally understand the hype around macarons. It was delicious - crispy on the outside, totally fresh and moist on the inside. The flavors popped without the filling being overly sweet. The sprinkles added a nice variety of texture. For my own health’s sake, it’s a good thing this place is 2 hours from me. But these macarons (and I’d wager their other pastries)...

The atmosphere inside is nice - the place is really spacious. The cappuccino didn’t taste well in my opinion and it was served hotter than I’d expect. Empanadas with spicy chicken and ham and cheese croissant were just okay, good enough to feed you if you are hungry but not something personally enjoyed much in terms of taste.

Cute, clean and serene coffee shop in Hardwick. The reliable Wi-Fi and spacious location made this a delightful place to work for a couple hours each morning when I was visiting Craftsbury.
