My sister and I have made a practice of stopping here once a month since they opened a few years ago. Usually we enjoy everything about our visit, but today was not that. We were seated and ordered our drinks, then waited about 15 minutes for our waitress to come back and take our order. We ordered, then watched another group be seated, and food brought out immediately. I had ordered the French onion soup, as I have enjoyed theirs in the past. When it finally came out, the cheese on top was oily, not fully melted, and tasted like it came out of a moldy package. The broth had almost no flavor. I pushed the full crock to the side, and both my sister and I tried to catch the waitress's attention, she walked past us 6 times while that crock sat on the edge of the table and she avoided our eyes. When she brought out our food, I told her that it wasn't good, that it tasted off. She told us it was made fresh every day. Okay, it was still bad. She took it away, and did remove it from the bill, but only checked on us once to see if everything else was good and if we wanted the bill, never checked if we needed refills on our drinks, or anything else. It was not busy, there were only 4 tables that had actual customers (there was another table that the waitresses kept sitting down and chatting with the people sitting there). Read moreWe got there just in time. The crowd was letting up and we were seated quickly. We had seen the specials on the board as We came in. When my husband asked about what was in one of the specials the server said she wasn't sure. She didn't offer to reel us about the specials either. We ordered drinks and I asked for a unsweet tea and got a sweet yes. Which was no biggie, but she didn't come back so what seemed like forever. She finally came back, my husband ordered another beer but she kept forgetting it. We got our food which was really good. Meanwhile 2 couples came in and sat down next to us. Morgan was their server. She came up and immediately went over all the drink specials and explained what was available on the flights. Then went over all the food specials and ended with the desserts. After she left we all started talking and expressed hthat we would have ordered completely different if we had had a server that was that efficient. Morgan is a true true asset to them. Read moreWe have dined her many times. Food is usually fresh and good. Wait time of food is generally understandable as they can be busy during the times we go. Costumer service needs improvement. There is a blonde waitress (I didn’t catch her name) she has worked there for sometimes who is unfriendly and dismissive. We are not needy costumers. The owner also needs costumer service etiquettes. She doesn’t own up to a mistake on her end and is quick to point the blame to anyone, but her establishment. She does not try to apologize or correct a wrong doing. Her demeanor and the waitress’ both seem as though they could care less if you come or not. Maybe the owner feels like she has enough costumers so what does it hurt to loose one?!? I have worked in costumer service my whole life. I understand busy times, I understand demanding circumstances, and I understand that some costumers you can never please.
