Robin's Nest Cafe — Restaurant in Harlem Township

Usually I would rate this place a little higher however today I went and got an order for pick up and it was not what I expected for one my food was done I walked in I waited 15 minutes to get it from the lady yes there was a few customers in the diner but it seemed like I was standing there while she took care of other people like things that happened after like my food was ready sitting there and she waited to do my food until she took another order that came up So I was kind of upset about that not too much in the fact the food was cold at that point when I got at home I live about a minute from the restaurant so that's unacceptable Then all the eggs that I ordered the yolks were hard when they were supposed to be running, It's been so long since I had one of my favourite little diners that I'm really kind of upset that it was such a bad experience this time because I missed that place...

The food was......OK. what got me was the price. The menu showed my price at $11 something, when she wrote the ticket it was $12 something. I was told this was tax which i expect, then when I got to the register I'm told there was a food surcharge and it went to 14 something. They swiped my card and them I checked later it was charged for 16 something. No reason a bill should go up 3 times from the original.

I stumbled upon this place as I was in the area. Very quite, simple and cozy place. The ambience feels like you are home with family. I for once felt like I am eating at home where someone is serving you delicious hot food and do care if the food does taste good. Yes I agree there are lot of old people here so the food prepared is very simple, very healthy portions and less salt. I admired the way others were enjoying there food and none of the staff was trying to rush them to finish there food, empty the table and leave. A real surprise for me happened when. I received my omelette and it was so good and delicious that I actually put my phone down and started to focus on food more.
