Ba'Runi Grille — Restaurant in Harmony Township

This is my favorite local watering hole. My wife would disagree, but it’s probably in her top ten. If we’re going to judge on a bang-for-your-buck basis, this place wins hands-down. The beers and drinks are reasonably priced. Did I say reasonable? I meant cheap. I meant that, there’s always a small selection of craft beers that will satisfy your craving for brewing diversity. There’s also a tiny bottle shop selection if you want to pick out some solid craft beers to go. Now, about their food menu - strap yourself in, because this place is off the hook in terms of value, and daily specials. They have a different theme for each day of the week. Sundays, it’s 60 cent ( current as of 9-1-19) wings. Monday is Pizza night. Tuesday is Burger night - 2 bucks off the already dirt cheap price of their already awesome burgers. Wednesday is Lasagna day, with 3 styles to choose from, including a vegetarian option. Thursday is my favorite night, Greek night, with numerous specials at a great price, each one better than the last. Friday is fish and seafood. To start, my 3 star isn't because this establishment is bad, it's because 3 out of 5 is mediocre/acceptable but not a 5 star "wow, this is my new home away from home!".

The bar tenders are hot and miss. The dark haired girl (Desiree I believe) is really fast, attentive and fun to see. Some others are no where near acceptable, and may flat out turn your appetite away.

The pizza really isn't good at all. The Greek is good. So the menu items are hit and miss. Really, nothing from the kitchen has stood out to me as amazing. This is really why I go with 3 stars. Everything is decent or acceptable, but I always look for at least a couple menu items that I can really get behind and look forward to. It doesn't exist for my taste here.

The establishment is clean, the drinks are cold, access is good but parking can be dangerous with the lot being so narrow. Be careful if your backing out of a space, you can easily back into another patrons automobile.

My husband and I had our first date here. I didn't know they had turned the weekly rooms into a hotel when they bought the place. Anyway, we had a great time there on our first date. BUT I called there to check on getting a room because we were going to be back in the area and thought it would be a nice way to celebrate my husband's birthday. I had questions and was told to make it quick when I called because it's lunch time and they are busy. I will not be calling back, nor booking a room or going there period. I was going to be giving them business and felt like the lady could care less. If she had just said, " I'm sorry we are short staffed and it's lunch time, can I get your name and number and call you back or maybe you can call back" I would have been completely ok with that.
