Dollar General — Local services in Harmony Township

I visited the store today, 8/17/19, and was immediately blown away. It was nice to see shopping carts right in the entry way and practically unused. I have a toddler and had to adjust the strap as he was the first child to use it. Yay less germs.

The store was very welcoming and not crowded by overflowing shelves with product or uboats blocking isles. The isles were nice and wide enough for better product viewing. The shelves were all stocked and everything looked to be in order.

The coolers/refrigerators were well stocked and had proper lighting. A nice thing to see was the thermometers so we know food is being kept at proper temps.

I didn't enter them but there are restrooms too!

Overall it was a nice trip and the store looks very good. I hope shoppers will be respectful and keep it clean.

PS. No tobacco products at this time until proper licensing has been acquired...

I was in this store today with a friend while she was shopping I was just browsing, and I wasn't wearing a mask due to breathing problems, a few other customers started looking at me so I took my mask out of my pocket and put it on ,my friend was in line to check out so I went to my car. The manager followed me out and accused me of stealing a mask he had an empty wrapper in his hand, which I didn't see when I was looking at them. He continued to accuse me after I showed him my homemade mask that I had. I was so embarrassed, I would never steal anything if I cant pay for it i dont get it. I will never return to that store again and I will let others know how i was treated there. He is the manager there and should never accuse a customer of stealing without proof. And now that i thought about it the mask on his face looked more like the ones the store sales maybe...

This location really surprised me with their selection, cleanliness, and organization. Most other dollar general locations give me anxiety because there is stuff everywhere, but this location was very organized and well labeled. We went in for cat litter, I couldn't find anywhere else, and they had a great amount of it available. The prices are also lower than where I've bought it previously. The other thing I really like about this location is the E.L.F cosmetics and skin care products offered. They had a lot of different products, a great selection, and are well stocked with my favorites from E.L.F! Not to mention that they had some of their new products available for sale!! The only downside to this location is that they only have 1 cash register and 1 self checkout line. The staff were friendly...
