Appalachian Snail Market & Cafe — Restaurant in Harpers Ferry

We stopped in today on the second day of their “soft opening”. Though still under renovations this place already attracted us with its historical charm! We were visiting the Harpers Ferry area from south central PA and it caught our eye as we drove into town. The kids shared a bowl of ice cream and I had a great iced oat milk matcha. They have a good selection of locally sourced fresh groceries too! This is just their start and I’m sure this place will continue to grow into something very special for their community and...

Cute spot that is on the way to being a must visit, IMO. We stopped in for some ice cream, which was delicious, after a day exploring Harper's Ferry. There were signs indicating more food options are coming soon (like sandwiches!), and they are also constructing a nice outdoor seating area. They have sundries catered to both day trippers and hikers alike (we grabbed some of their branded coffee and a delicious fresh peach). Can't wait to go again next time we are in the area to see this place...

Everything about the Appalachian Snail is perfect! I stopped here early in the morning and had easily the best coffee in Harper’s Ferry. I was so charmed by their wide selection of locally sourced products from meats to caramel. I decided to stop back later in the day to cool down with some ice cream. I could not recommend it more. Without a doubt the best ice cream in Harper’s Ferry! Not to mention the price of everything is amazing. 10/10 would (and will!)...
