I can’t say enough about this place. Everything about it was amazing. The food, the owners, the other guest, the vibe. I swear I felt the love.
I was surprised to find this place after my son and I went tubing and Harpers Ferry so I went in and the owner said that he couldn’t do carry out because it was so busy and they only had one person cooking. And I could see her running around making each dish by herself and each plate that came out was more beautiful than the next. So I decided to sit at a table and I’m so glad I did.
Everything on the menu looked super impressive. I asked for a recommendation before between a few things and this is what we got: my son had a waffle and I ordered him mac & “cheese.” I got the buffalo cauliflower dip and the pitmaster salad. Everything was presented beautifully and was beyond my expectations. Soooo delicious. Side note: I ate the Mac & cheese. Num num num
It’s a very small space and they encourage you to speak to each other and so it did feel like a meeting of like-minded people in one place just chatting it up. It’s so nice to be in a place where everybody shares the same lifestyle and/or way of eating. And not have to choose the only thing on the menu that fits the woe.
The husband’s recommendations were spot on and I enjoyed the conversation. The wife/chef/rockstar was super sweet and when a pup came in she asked the owner if she could get her a treat and then came back with a platter that looked better than anything I’ve ever served my child. Their daughter was also there working. She was so sweet and friendly.
I left this place with a huge smile on my face, love in my heart, and with plenty of food left to share with my family who do not participate in this woe. They loved it.
Do yourself a favor and go here. If you have somebody that you want to introduce to vegan food or plant-based diet this is where you want to take them. But make sure you only go Thursday through Sunday because the other three days they are closed.
I definitely have plans to go back there and try everything...
Read moreI recently visited Kelley Farm Kitchen, a 100% vegan restaurant located in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. I was blown away by the delicious food, the incredibly friendly staff, and the unique atmosphere.
I started my meal with the Buffalo chicken sandwich, which was made with a crispy seitan patty that was coated in a flavorful buffalo sauce. The sandwich was served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomato, and vegan ranch dressing. It was absolutely delicious!
My wife had the chili cheese brat, which was made with a vegan bratwurst that was cooked in a flavorful chili sauce and topped with cheese. She also loved her meal, and said that it was the best vegan chili cheese brat she had ever had.
We also ordered a side of mac and cheese, which was made with a creamy vegan cheese sauce and topped with breadcrumbs. The mac and cheese was also delicious, and it was the perfect comfort food.
The service at Kelley Farm Kitchen was top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and they were always happy to answer our questions. They also made sure that our food was cooked perfectly.
The atmosphere at Kelley Farm Kitchen is unique and inviting. The restaurant is located in a restored building, and the walls are decorated with artwork from local artists. There is also a large outdoor patio that is perfect for dining al fresco.
Overall, I had an amazing experience at Kelley Farm Kitchen. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great vegan meal in...
Read moreI have been going to KFK since the first month they opened years ago. I'm a vegan and finding a place that serves more than a black bean burger was exciting. Over the years I watched their menu evolve and I have never gotten something I didn't like. They are the only place within hours of here to have vegan soft serve ice cream and their veggie burgers are outstanding, easily my favorite menu item and my go to. I especially love that they will carry a bleu cheese burger occasionally. The building it's in is small but it's historic, and it's artsy inside. They have a few places inside to sit at tables and outside they have seating in the yard. It does get very very busy there in the summer with tourists but the food is amazing which is why you see so many good reviews. They operate year round so if crowds bother you, try them in the off season (when less people go to HF). The parking is an issue, but Bolivar and HF have parking issues since the town is hundreds of years old there was no parking lot thought of then with horses being the mode of transportation. The park has parking lots but it's a bit of a hike. There's street parking that usually opens up frequently. It really is worth it to deal with the lack of parking. Every door dash I've done has been on time for pick up and hot. Visit Bolivar Bread down the street on the same side, easily one of the best bakeries in the...
