Update September 2023 Just reduced my rating to 1 star. I still have not heard from the owners/management of this location. Customer service is not a priority for this location. I wrote to the owner and got no response. Another reason, I ride past this location without stopping.
Note: the photo I posted with my original review has received 50,000 views. Updated Review - 2nd September 20, 2022 Ordered a fish sandwich, 2 pies and large French fries (hot). The fries were hot, but tasted like they had been sitting for hours. I specifically asked for hot fries. Maybe, I should have also specified fresh. This location continues to disappoint me. I hadn't been in awhile so I decided to give them a try. Big Mistake. Avoid them if you have other options.

We stopped at McDonald's in Harrington, Delaware tonight, and my wife ordered a smoothie. When the employee passed the smoothie through the window, my wife jokingly commented that she was being cheated out of some of the product. The cup was 3/4 filled. The young man apologized and went to add more product to the cup. Apparently, he was intercepted by someone in the business. He returned with the same cup and said that this was the correct amount of product. I want to commend the young man for trying to do the right thing. Apparently, someone else in management thought he was not, and sent him back with the same unfilled cup. Some folks don't need to be managers or supervisors. I won't be visiting this location anytime soon. We took pictures, and may send them to the owner of the business.
I also sent my concern to the owner of the restaurant. Neither the restaurant, nor the owners have responded to me. Apparently, customer concerns aren't important to them. It makes you wonder, what other areas of the business is not receiving the required attention. What ever happened to...
Read moreThe McDonald's on GWH in Yorktown(corner of fort eutis Blvd &gwh) was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with McD's in a long while. They made a special request order i placed wrong, and then gave "attitude" and displayed nasty discourteous customer service when confronted. When I asked for the manager, he wasn't any better, in fact he was worse than his team members ..and his nails were dirty and too long...very uncaring attitude and dismissive...VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE AND THE FOOD LOOKED QUESTIONABLE nor was it hot. As a rule, i leave a restaurant when I see a staff of employees "standing around laughing a lot" I get worried about my food and who's preparing it...thats what i saw that day, including the manager..Spoke with McD's Corp headquarters, who gave the owner my complaints and he contacted me through a letter..NO results...he seemed very aloof and uncaring, like he didn't care nor believed me..didn't even offer a courtesy coupon or a free sandwich on a next visit.. I guess that's why his employees do what they do because they know what they can "get away with" in his restaurant. He, the owner seems unfazed because he has a huge and continually steady flow of unsuspecting hungry customers because of his stores location..very cocky way of thinking..i suppose he thinks "he's too big to fall"...I Will never ever give this place another dollar of my money, ever...other McD's and plenty of other restaurants...
Read moreI placed an order for a 40 piece nugget which comes with six sweet and sour sauces they did not put the sauce in the bag so when I asked for it the girl brought me three sauces two of which were barbecue and one was a sweet and sour when I tried to tell her that I needed sweet and sour she got an attitude and said that is sweet and sour and I said no that's one sweet and sour and two barbecue I would like six sweet and sours for my 40 piece chicken nugget that I paid for she then proceeded to tell me how when they Overstock sometimes it gets mixed up and that it was not that big of a deal but when somebody is trying to let you know that there's a mistake being made you need to cut the attitude the customer was not wrong here and I was trying to be polite by asking for something that was not done correctly by being packed in the order to start with and then second when you brought me the wrong sauce because you were in too big of a hurry and you were too inconvenient to do your job that you get paid to do so you gave me disrespect and attitude perhaps moving forward you could either make sure the orders get packed correctly so nobody needs to ask you to do your job or you could be a little more respectful and take the time to get the correct items to fix the original problem I have worked with fast food for over 20 years and that's never acceptable behavior from anybody when you...
