If you're in the mood for a chocolate shake but crave an adventure, Dairy Queen in Natrona Heights has got you covered. I ordered what was supposed to be a simple chocolate shake, but oh boy, what I got was a veritable treasure trove of flavors. With each sip, I embarked on an unexpected journey - Oreo pieces here, chunks of chocolate there, and a mysterious vanilla essence that left me wondering if I was at a Dairy Queen or a magical shake lottery.
Clearly, the cleaning of the machines isn't on their priority list, which brings me to my suggestion: why not rebrand this whole debacle as a "Surprise Shake"? Every shake could be an adventure, a blend of whatever's left in the machine from the last week's menu. No need for cleaning; just keep the mixer running and let the flavors meld into something... unique.
In all seriousness, if you're looking for consistency or a plain old chocolate shake, you might want to brace yourself for a surprise. But if you're in the mood for mystery in your dessert, this Dairy Queen might...
Read moreMy son went in and ordered two bbq chicken strip meals. (He is 19 so it’s not like he is a child) We took them home and found they were not bbq and there was no bbq sauce in with it either. So back in the car and back to the store we went. I went in explained what had happened. The girl I spoke with at the counter asked to see my receipt, which I showed her, and she told me they would remake it. Then another lady came out (assuming she was the manager) and told me the young man that ordered the food ordered it with bbq dipping sauce and she could give me the dipping sauce. I explained that he had asked for bbq chicken strip meals and we didn’t even get the dipping sauce with the meals and now everything would be cold! She did then agree to remake the meals and was very nice about it. From what I can see on previous reviews all I will get from this is “ sorry and they hope we will give them another chance” but I felt this was worth sharing. Strongly suggest checking your order...
Read moreMostly high school girls working here and they aren't very friendly. They asked my son what he wanted to drink and because he didn't answer right away and had to think about it, the two girls gave each other a look that I felt was rude. They acted like it was the end of the world that he was taking ten seconds to think about what drink he wanted. They could all use more training on being polite, friendly, courteous and patient. They don't welcome you. They usually don't say hello or how are you. There is a lot of room for improvement with the employees that management needs to address. The food is good. It is an old building that could use an update. I wish they had a drive thru. The only reason I keep returning here is because it is close...
