McDonald's — Restaurant in Harrison Township

Ive had the worst experience from this mcdonalds more than one time. The first two times i had blonde hair strands in my grilled snack wrap on two different occassion. I immediately called and made the manager aware of what was in my food and she was very rude about it which suprised me. She then offered for me to come back and have my food replaced, but i was running late for work so i was unable to come back. Its was frustrating already to have no lunch because of unsanitary workers but then to be responded to the way i was blew my mind. I let that go. Recently I came to mcdonalds again for lunch on my overnight shift and i ordered burgers fries and cookies. Now to my understanding after 7 minutes i think fries go bad. And also being that i worked for mcdonalds before i know what the quality of food is supposed to be even in my profession today. When they handed me my bag i looked to see if everything was there but the first thing i noticed was my fries. They were dark so i immediately thought they were burnt so i tasted one and they were ice cold. I knocked on the window and asked could i have fresh ones if it wasn't too much trouble. She took the fries and came back about a minute later. These fries were even darker and harder.now i know fresh fries takes about 3 mintues to cook. I knocked on the window again and i asked for fresh fries please and i said i didnt want to be a hassle Because the ones they gave me were too hard. She said she would have to go to the freezer to get a bag of fries so i could have a fresh batch. Now first thing that came to my mind was that they took the same fries and dropped them in the grease to warm them and gave them back to me which was clear because they were even darker and harder then the first ones. This restaurant got a makeover and it looks awesome. It seems to have a European influenced design that I noticed while living in Germany. I like the new look. They are embracing automation with an order kiosk and reduced their four registers to down to two. I prefer talking to a human to place my order (I also want to show my support of workers) so I ordered at the register and not the kiosk. One of my first jobs was at a McDonalds and it taught me to respect and value those who work. Our sandwiches and nuggets were perfect. One note for management: the apple slices were expired. My wife ate them and then noticed the expiration date. She said they tasted fine. This McDonalds is U Do It approved! Update (2019-09-19): Not enough staff on my past three visits. One night it could be because of a perfect storm of calling out. But three times in a row? The manager was handling things well in this situation. We had to wait 20 minutes for our food last night. Drive-thru was backed up around the building for the duration of our visit. We made sure to tell the cashier she was doing a great job. You could tell she was trying to keep it together. Please...

Never thought I'd give a bad review for McDonalds... It's McDonalds, you get what you pay for right? Well, this McDonald's proved me wrong!! Ordered a quarter pounder meal and it wasn't cooked... Completely red in the middle and cold. Honestly, I didn't even realized McDonalds used real meat anymore, so I was somewhat happy while being disgusted (if that makes sense). I brought it to the counter to send back but informed that I didn't want another one. They apologized but didn't even offer my money back! I did eventually get my money back, but only for the sandwich, not the entire meal. Regardless, not a good experience. I will say that it must have been a bad night because people were waiting 10-15 minutes for their food, which is a lifetime for McDonalds! At one point, we witnessed someone come in from ordering from the drive thru to yell and complain, I'm assuming due to poor service. I'd like to note that this store is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and not the typical shady area where you'd normally find a McDonald's. We found it surprising that it was such a bad experience. Most likely will avoid this particular McDonald's...
