First off place needs a really good cleaning, walls have crud all over them pretty nasty and from what I saw in another review apparently this place hasn't had any updates done to it in over 20 years. I ordered the seafood burrito it sounded really good and they don't serve those everywhere, should have known better. Instead of getting whole pieces of shrimp and whole pieces or half pieces of scallop and chunks of crab it's just all minced up I don't know what I was eating exactly just saw pieces of imitation crab throughout the half I made it through. But it was supposed to have shrimp, scallops and crab meat in it. Also got a combo platter that was okay nothing to write home about, for some reason they put chili all over the tamale and they could cut up the tomatoes a little bit smaller maybe.. The guacamole and sour cream in the little chip cups was cool though I guess. Place is tiny and once it filled up basically had to yell cross the table to communicate, of course we got there before the dinner rush. Margaritas we're okay, they had raspberry flavoring. Oh yeah they're Spanish rice is on point.

I wasn't expecting authentic Mexican food being this place has been around long before authentic started to arrive in Michigan but this is way off the mark. They use Mozzarella on some of their dishes like enchiladas (says right on the menu). There was no hot sauce tables but sugar caddies were apparently necessary on every table? I ordered tamales, which were suuuper dry. I don't even know if there was meat in them, the menu didn't say and I couldn't tell if they were just stuffed with dry masa. The restaurant is so old and dingy, atmosphere is trashy...nothing gives a latin ambiance like Katy Perry & 50 cent playing overhead lol. There's 90s artwork on the walls, some fake vine strung along the ceiling surely collecting dust, a TOWEL ROLL in the bathroom. 2 stars as service by host and server was good. If looking for a cheap dive bar kinda place to hang out and pound ritas and light beers hey this probably works but if you want decent Mexican fare in a clean, nice atmosphere, move along.

Poncho and Cisco's holds true to their name. As a local, I prefer P&C's to Paco's. Here, I can pay with a card and they serve alcohol. They also seem cleaner and friendlier. They have better quality food. -Their timing was fast even when busy. -They have a diverse drink and food menu. -I was given good portions -The bar looked clean, drinks organized -Great food and authentic atmosphere -Pictured Chicken tinga burrito takeout it was DELICIOUS. Thanks to the hardworking employees today, y'all were very busy and everyone pulled through!

Went there on a Tuesday evening with my family (there was 8 of us). Mind you when we arrived there were approx 3 tables with customers who had already been served their food. (not a busy time) The server took our drink order first. I asked for water for the table in addition to the drinks that were ordered. A good 5-10 minutes we were given the ordered drinks, no water. I asked again, if she would bring us water. Everyone ordered a dinner, some soup, etc.. My sister and mother ordered chicken and shrimp fajitas. My daughter ordered a chimichanga with the sour cream and guac on the side. I reminded the server for the 3rd time that we were still waiting for water. Dinner arrived to our table, my mother and sister had steak fajitas placed in front of them, my daughter and the sour cream and guac on her food not on the side and we were missing the jalapeno cornbread that was ordered. The server apologized, and then blamed the "cook". She then asked my daughter if they could just scrape off the toppings she didn't want or did they really have to recook it all. (with a very sour attitude). We declined the entire order at that point and my daughter just shared my dinner. Although my sister and mother now had to wait for theirs to be remade. By the time the fajitas and cornbread was served to our table, the rest of us had already finished our food. When the bill came, I asked the server if a discount was going to be given for the multiple errors with our order and the fact the we were not able to eat together. She huffed and puffed and said what you want like a fried ice cream or something. (No! We didn't want an ice cream) I declined that and suggested she bring her manager to our table so that we could speak with him. She said he was the only cook cook and wouldn't be free to speak with us. She also mentioned that he was in a bad mood and would just yell at her anyways. She then offered to take off the cost 2 soups that we had ordered. We accepted. That evening my son attempted to finish his leftovers. In mid-bite he had to spit out the food because there was something HARD in the chicken. (I looked at it, it may have been a piece of bone) . I called the next day to speak with the manager. Never received a return call. I called again today and he is not in, I was told they gave him the message though.

Needless to say - SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME. Salsa was not homemade (clearly bought in bulk, similar to a grocery store quality) chips were stale. Service was terrible and the manager is not available to speak to when you have a concern. We will not...

I can not express how awesome this place is. Their food is great! I cleared my plate, which doesn't happen often. I can't remember the last time I left a restaurant without a left over before box. But the thing that really stood out was their staff. The waitresses were, by far, some of the best wait staff I've ever experienced. If something was needed, regardless of who had which table, they listened and took care of the request; rather than a lot of waitresses would say, "Hold on, let me get your waitress for you." and not even bother to take care of the customer. Every single waitress were some of the best myself and the people with me had experienced in a long time. Also, let's not forget the kitchen. I have to be honest, the food here wasn't this crazy out of touch gourmet style food. But that's not what TB restaurant was trying to portray. In regards to what was made for me... It literally was the absolutely best cooked meat I have had in years and years. It wasn't filet mignon, but it was cooked to perfection and had incredible flavor. What really stood out to me was the fact that the chef that was cooking our food made an effort to follow-up what what he was making with the customer. It was evident he cared about every plate that came out of that kitchen. He took pride in what he did more than most high end former cooks I've experienced. Even more so, when there was a little bit of a lull in the kitchen he came out and went table by table asking his customers if everything is good and the way they asked for it and expected it. I am born and raised in San Diego. I've eaten at high end restaurants and other not so high end restaurants all over the country and then some. I must say that the service and my meal were above and beyond by far in comparison to thousand dollar tabs. I walked in accepting this place to be another small, privately owned, neighborhood restaurant that really didn't care all that much except for the fact that people are still coming in. I was BEYOND PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at what happened when I sat down. I don't do many reviews, but more often than not, they are done because of a negative experience above and beyond the expectations of a hole in the wall. This place and their staff merit a positive response above and beyond the norm. Thank You all for showing me something I haven't seen in a very long time, if not ever. Keep up the great work and I'll will be back...

I want so badly to give this a full 5 star rating. I've been here many times and have never had an issue until yesterday (June 22nd). I came in with my boyfriend and his dad per usual. Took a minute to get our drink order in which was fine. We weren't in a rush or anything. We just like to chill. Fast forward to the food order. The waitress came up and honestly didn't give an actual proper greeting but I dismissed it because I don't personally care about that. What I cared about was the accuracy of my order. My boyfriend's order was fine. His dad's order was fine. They got exactly what they wanted. Me however, I asked for the tinga chimichanga. I was brought enchiladas. And when I stated that it was not what I ordered the waitress flat out said "are you sure? I have enchilads written down. That's what you said" No...it's not at all what I said. I never get anything other than a chimichanga. As a former waitress, I know how stressful things can get, but I would never get even slightly argumentative and question what a customer said regarding their order. And I always read the order back to make sure I got everything right. Which she did not. And for her to say "son of a B" when she realized she messed up..also unprofessional. So I had to wait extra time while everyone else was eating their food. By the time my food came, I was already getting full from the appetizer sitting in my stomach for so long. Only got maybe 2 bites in and had to get a to go box. I also did not receive the tinga chimichanga. It was definitely a regular. And I would have much rather eaten this thing fresh as the guac goes bad so fast. It's not going to stop me from coming there again because I genuinely enjoy this place, but this was not a good experience for me. This was the older waitress, just to clarify. Not the younger one. I don't retain names, so my bad. Editing to add that my boyfriend was going out the door to vape away from the outdoor seating and saw our waitress doing a shot behind the bar. Which happens in a lot of...
