El Encanto Mexicano — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

Very suprised this place hasn’t been reviewed more. I had a conversation with what seemed to be the owner… very down to earth lady. She gave me the run down on the story behind opening the place, she said she just wanted to have a place that tasted like home to her. Ironically enough, I let my coworker try my tacos and he said “wow, these taste like they are homemade”. You can see them hand press fresh tortillas in the back while you wait. The freshness is smacks you in the face when you take a bite. Meat is seasoned well and has good taste. The steak is the best flavored steak I’ve had at a taco truck, same with the tortillas. I can’t go back lol. Shout out to them for the customer service. Last night I told the lady it was my first time being there and she let me try the tacos for free while I waited on my tamales.
