La Taurina Grill — Restaurant in Harrisonburg

If you want to be treated nicely where you spend your money, this is not the place to go. The owner (an older man with glasses) is rude and has no idea what customer service is. The only reason I went there was because the sauce is better than what you find at a lot of other food trucks. However, if you don't speak Spanish, don't expect to be treated well. They don't seem to care about hygiene—I saw the owner take cash from someone with his bare hands and then go right back to cooking without washing them. They also try their best not to give you sauce with your order unless you check it right there. The last time I was there, I ordered two separate meals, and he only gave me one sauce for both. When I asked for more sauce, he looked at me and said it would be an extra $0.25. My food also tasted like stale meat. They're expensive, two order of tacos plus tax was $33.

I heard their tacos were bomb, so I decided to give it a try. When I got there, the lady in the truck hadn't noticed I was waiting, so I knocked on their window to get her attention, and she was kinda rude and had an attitude the rest of the time, but no biggy. I ordered the tacos de carne asada. I thought they were okay--not really impressed with them though. They seem to have some kind of taco seasoning, which I wasn't the biggest fan of. Their green sauce is delicious; the red sauce was meh.
