Kurzweil's Country Meats — Restaurant in Harrisonville

My husband and I were in need of a late lunch due to a home improvement project. I had heard great things about Kurzweil's so I googled their phone number and gave them a call. The man I spoke to on the phone was very friendly, kind and accommodating especially since they were going to close for lunch within the next 20 minutes. He said not to be concerned, he would accept our "to go" order over the phone, and we were ever so delighted that he did. My husband, a pork tenderloin connoisseur, ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich. This was one of the largest, thickest and most tender pork tenderloin sandwiches he has ever had the pleasure of consuming. The sandwich made two meals for him. The "to go" box could not contain the size of this sandwich! I ordered the pork chops which were smoked and seasoned perfectly and melted in my mouth. Both of our meals were complimented with delicious side items of generous proportion. We will definitely become regulars for lunch, and look forward to trying other menu items based on this experience. We haven't had the opportunity to shop in the adjacent store as yet, but plan to do so. Kurzweil's has the best quality food at reasonable prices in Harrisonville. Truly delightful family owned and operated establishment! Visited today with my children and the customer service and courtesy we received just made my heart full. It is what you think of when you think of small town vibes!

The food is incredible as well! Wonderful prices with large portions provide us with lots of left overs! You can’t even go to a fast food restaurant for that cost anymore and this food is all served fresh and hot!

Large selection of meats and cheeses to take home as well with a full range for anyone’s palate! There is truly something for everyone! They were helpful to answer any questions and provide recommendations too!

I absolutely LOVE this place! They provide the best smoked meats which also includes a great variety of brats. And they also offer a great lunch!
