Alcona Coffee Co — Restaurant in Harrisville

I’ve been coming to Alcons Coffee Co for 3 years, and I’ve never once had a bad experience until July 27th, 2022. We had coffee on Monday, and Tuesday and we got charged $4 like the normal price. Me and my friend get there on July 27th, 2022 and the woman we took our order charged us $7. We got the same thing, iced coffee with just creamer and a iced coffee with caramel. I didn’t have enough money because i was expecting it to be $4 and something cents since tax and the flavor is 85 cents. I didn’t have enough, and the girl changed her attitude from being nice to being rude when i told her i didn’t have the $2. She used the tip jar money, and we waited forever for our coffee. They weren’t busy, and i know it’s not that hard to make an ice coffee because I make them at home. When she was making the coffee, she barley put any coffee in it and watered it down right in front us. She put whipped cream and caramel drizzle on it too. Ice coffee’s aren’t supposed to have whipped cream and caramel drizzle, and I know i told her the right thing, because i saw her write down 2 iced coffee’s. As she was making the coffee, she kept giving us very dirty looks, and we weren’t rude at all. We didn’t correct her because I didn’t want to mess with it at the time because i don’t like confrontations. I told my parents about it and they said that they’ll go up to the coffee shop with us to figure out what happened. The next day, me and my friend got coffee again, and we got charged our regular charge of $4. On Friday, me and my parents and friend went into the shop and I told a different girl about what happened and started to debate us about it not believing us clearly. We asked for a manager, and she said she wasn’t there and that she’ll handle the situation. She was being rude at this point and took $2 out of the tip jar and handed it to us. Today’s lunch experience was, as usual, stellar! You’d never expect to find a gem like this in a quiet little resort town like Harrisville! Alcona Coffee Co never disappoints with the love that goes into their food items! Every sandwich on the lunch menu is made to order using the freshest, highest quality ingredients that are sure to please any palate. I’m not sure which lunch item is my favorite, they’re all so good! The atmosphere here is so cozy, welcoming, comfortable, and most importantly, clean! It’s obvious that the owner is passionate about what they do, and it shows! Best coffee, snacks, atmosphere and downright good vibes around this caffeine barren wasteland. The owner and staff are always charismatic and provide excellent customer service. I continuously hear positive gossip regarding new happenings around town and physically see the love this business has for our county and town. They rep local artist paintings on the wall, local bakery treats, and a coffee blend made special for a local boutique.
