The Goat Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Hartford Township

My husband and I are long haul truck drivers and were super hungry. We looked up on google what wa as open and this place showed up. So we stopped in to get a much needed bite. The waitress came up to us and asked us what we would like and my hubby asked her for menus and that is when she proceeded to inform us that the kitchen was closed and something about either not having anyone to work the kitchen for at least 3 hrs or something about not having any people come into the place that weren't regulars in 3 hrs....not sure either way, we were very disappointed and had to drive 16 miles down the road to find food. Decided to have lunch at a random small town during our long drive. Ample parking available.

A pretty typical bar set up with spacious seating area and some casino + arcade games + a pool table.

The food was pretty standard bar grub, while it's not gourmet but certainly decent.

Service was very good and friendly. Kitchen was slightly slow but there was only 1 guy in the kitchen, understandable given it's a non-peak hour or Wednesday afternoon.

Wings are always great but service is also always SLOW. Only one waitress the last 2 Tuesday nights even though it's wing night and the place has been full both times. She is clearly stressed out, it shows in her face and her tone towards customers. I feel bad for her. We sat for a half hour for drinks and no food order to be put in. When our drinks did arrive we mentioned we were ready to put in food orders and were told that there was 3 tables before our orders. Another 20 minutes before our food orders were asked for.
