Chris's Pizza & Deli — Restaurant in Hartford

I was brought to this place from a friend who bragged that she use to come to this place for great breakfast. Beyond taking awhile for the breakfast for a long while I didn’t mind as I was waiting for this excellent breakfast. To no avail the breakfast came and my toast was burnt to dust. I took a bite of The pancake and it tasted like a warmed up corn tortilla. I asked if they would please take my burnt toast away the nice waiter said he would get me New toast. When the toast came back it was butter and wimpy. Obviously not toasted at all. They offered to get me a new plate of food but nothing could help as long as they had the same pancake recipe and the same awful disrespectful disgusting cook. Go to Denny’s or IHOP this Mom and Pop place obviously doesn’t care for their customers. They need to get rid of this arrogant so...

I ordered a large pizza with two different combinations for each side. When the delivery man showed up, he sat in the car waiting for is to come out. I would think than when you ask for food to be delivered, that the driver would come to the door. So after a minute or two he finally got out of the car. Once we opened up the pizza box, the whole pizza was one of the two combinations that was requested. I called the restaurant back and also sent a photo of what we received. The man on the phone apologized and acted like he didn"t know what to do to rectify the problem. FIRST TIME I EVER EVEN TRY TO ORDER FROM HERE. I work a few stores down and I was starving decided to try Chris’s pizza. I called to order my meal and pay over the phone since I’m alone at the store but the guy that picked up the phone apparently didn’t understand English told me to come and get in line and hung up. I even asked him to TAKE PAYMENT over the phone so I could just run in and run out but he was too busy worried about customers infront of him instead of the PAYING customer on the phone. Bad service… guess I’ll order from somewhere else....
