A great place to try! The seating in the restaurant unfussy yet extremely accommodating and pleasant. It is a cross between eat-in/take-out and the wait staff assisted table setting of a traditional restaurant. The staff’s willingness to offer polite accommodations for, even me, who was waiting for a take-out order impressed me!
In the past, I’ve only ever ordered the rotisserie chicken, fried plantains and French fries to go and my husband was always the one to pick it up. But after reviewing their menu online, I decided to go to the restaurant myself and pick up the order myself. This time, I tried their chicken fried rice and steak with white rice to go. As I sat waiting for my order, I was pleasantly surprised to see red snapper fish prepared very similarly to the way I’m used to as a West Indian. As I had already placed my order, I vowed to try it next time!
After receiving my order, I hurried home to sample everything that smelled mouthwateringly scrumptious! My mouth and my stomach were not disappointed! Definitely was worth the wait! I’ll also...
Read moreWe were starving after a long day and hoping to avoid going to burger King/taco bell because it was 7:30pm. Drove by and decided to give it a try. So glad we stopped in! Simple fast-food style seating. You order and pay on a kiosk. The staff was friendly and answered questions. We opted for the whole chicken dinner which came with 2 sides. Got the house salad and macaroni verde. Food was ready within 10 min. Great sized portions- the salad consisted of sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded carrots and chopped iceberg with a French style dressing. Delicious and came in a large container. The macaroni was served hot and tossed in a yummy pesto sauce. The chicken was quartered and had a charred skin with Peruvian seasonings. The meat was succulent and tender. It came with 2 green sauces and we ordered extra and red sauce. Well worth the $40. Filled us up without and was a much more healthy and delicious choice than BK where we prob would have spent at least $30 anyway. Recommend and would go back if we are ever...
Read moreI recently moved to the area but I've been passing by this place for quite a while so I decided to try it out for myself and the food is tasty but it does have a unique flavor that may not suit everybody's taste, it's cooked very well, the flavor is on point although the prices for the chicken wings are a little bit too high so I did not try them as of now but I did an order of a quarter chicken breast with two sides, I ordered the fries also I chose the macaroni a la Huancaina, the macaroni and cheese was very good as far as the cheesiness in the al dente pasta but the pepper seasoning through it off, I think, at the very least I know something gives it a kind of funny aftertaste nothing was bad just more unusual than what you would normally consider mac and cheese or chicken that taste like, THE FRIES: EXCELLENT! The fries were beautifully done very flavorful some of the best fries I ever tasted, I will go back again just...
