This the worst dress shop I have ever patronized. I purchased a prom dress from them a couple of years back. It was a $500 ball gown and I was completely in love with it. They charged me $55 for alternations. It wasn't until I was dancing at prom that I realized that my legs were not itching from the tulle. They were itching because they never actually sewed my dress and left all of the alternation pins in. I had very large scratches down my legs and some were deep enough to draw blood. I promptly took out the pins and threw them away since I did not have any place to store them. I went back to the shop the next day they were open. After telling them what happened,showing them my legs and asking for the cost of alternations back, they asked for the pins, which I told them I didn't have. They then accused ME of sticking pins in my own dress and trying to "screw them out of money". Not only were they unprofessional, they were incredibly insulting. Nothing but a bunch of crooks with a sewing machine. The only reason I gave them a star was because they dress was pretty. Eldivaz Bridal was amazing! Ellie is incredible at what she does. She truely loves seeing the bride in a dress that makes her feel like a princess. I was on a very tight 3 month timeline. At times it was extremely busy in the shop, and although short handed at times, Ellie made me feel like I was the only bride in the shop. She gave me her undivided attention and listened to my wants and requirements. She gave her suggestions, but was never pushy and demanding. I bought an off the rack dress and Ellie fought for me to have the dress of my dreams. The lady who does the alterations for Ellie is also a very talented member of the team. I had asked for the corset to be taken out of the dress and a zipper with buttons to replace it. By doing that, the dress shrunk 3 inches in size in the waist. Somehow, someway, the alterations lady fixed my dress and it fit like a glove for my wedding! I felt like a true queen wearing that dress on my wedding day. I would highly recommend Eldivaz Bridals. I chose the shop because of Ellie...and her attention...

Decided after years to share my experience now that another family member is getting married and trips down memory lane are being shared amongst the family. Gowns are great, woman who owns the shop is nice. Owner had invited me to model wedding gowns at the expo after my fitting and, being plus size (XL), I was super excited at the opportunity. Owner met my slender sister when I arrived (sister tagged along) and she dropped me from the show and had sister model instead. My little sister was so so excited and happy, so as a big sister I kept my disappointment to myself. Then, to top it off, the old bat of a seamstress had told me I needed a “surgeon, not a seamstress” to fit into my gown. (For posterity, I ordered the size I had been measured for at their shop and had lost a few pounds as well by this time.) I’ve never referred anyone to their shop for that reason alone.
