I was extremely disappointed. I waited a while for my food. I specifically asked if my fish would be fried when I ordered it. My meal was not freshly prepared and it also was not hot. That fish was fried well over an hour or two before I even walked in thr door. It was dry and barely seasoned. Its the saddest kingfish I ever tried. KINGFISH is my favorite seafood and I couldn't even finish what they served me because the taste and texture were both so poor. The jerk chicken was mediocre and dry. The festival was stale and hard. The wings were scrawny and okay. The macaroni and cheese was bland and cold as well. It also had a strange almost synthetic taste... as it it were stored in a plastic container and absorbed some of the chemicals/scent of the plastic. The plastic container in which it was served did not have the same scent. The plantains were cold.
I never order fried foods that aren't made to order. They lied to me and told me things were made fresh. I thought that's what my wait time was for.
I took an Uber to this restaurant so thay I could speak with the staff and get advice on what to try. I spent 70 dollars for 2 people af this establishment and it wasn't even worth 20!
I'd highly recommend you go eslewhere... unless you prefer stale lukewarm and cold food that's overcooked and dried out. If you like that kind of food... then this is the...
Read moreHonestly, I have had my fair share of the antithesis of hospitality at this establishment. Some staff members would communicate with other patrons in an effort to hurl belittling statements geared towards other customers. These staff members acted without provocation ; you can easily be a victim of their unprofessional tirade just by both showing up and standing in line, while patiently waiting to get service. This pattern of behavior is unacceptable, and helps to cast a dark cloud over this establishment. In fact, the food at this restaurant exceeds competition within a 100 mile radius; I always enjoyed eating here; however, the lack of professionalism of some of the staff members really adversely affected the quality of service as well as the reputation of the establishment. This helps to pose the question: is poor management to be blamed for this pattern of deviant behavior? In fact, the lifeblood and existence of any restaurant is truly determined by the quality of service as well as the quality of the food. I hope that someone from their management team shows interest and actually reads these review and then try to make changes in the near future. If I am satisfied with acclimatization with respect to proper etiquette after 60 days, I will go ahead and recede my review, and then update my...
