An overall frustrating experience.

I usually never write reviews. However, after this experience, I felt compelled to.

I had ordered online through the restaurant’s website and after waiting nearly 2 hours, I call to find out they hadn’t started nor checked for the order notification. The employee on the phone told me that I should have called after I placed my order to ensure they received it but how was I supposed to know that they do not check their online orders regularly? So, with them still on the line, I decided to cancel my order and request a refund. I get, what I thought then, was an okay for my request to cancel. Come 20 minutes later, as I am leaving for dinner at a friend’s house, it’s the restaurant’s delivery driver. I call back to the restaurant, confused. Only to essentially get an “Oops. My bad. How about we give you a discount next time.” When I express that, while I am grateful, I probably won’t be ordering from them again, I get hung up on abruptly.

Double cooked pork....AS GOOD AS IT GETS! Since I posted the last review, I'm embarrassed to say, I'd only had the general taos... didn't see a need to push my luck. WELL, today I got the Double Cooked Pork....absolutely the best I've ever had....THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD!!! The cabbage was Cooked just right. Cooked, but still had that snap and crunch. Every piece of pork was tasty, tender and perfectly marinated. This place is hands down. My favorite.

FANTASTIC!! I am "that guy"... you know, the one who is very picky and has a long list of places to avoid. This is NOT on that list. I'm eating general tsao's prepared to perfection. The sauce is balanced brilliantly between sweet, spice and citrus. Personally I like to add a very hot distinct pepper flavor at home. Tonight I added habanero... just because... it is perfect. The broccoli is steamed perfectly... most importantly the chicken is not overcooked and the breading is the perfect texture and none of it is oily. I don't know, for me it doesn't get much better. ...

Very disappointed in the order and delivery experience this evening. Called to place an order and the employee was rude, rushing the order and not confirming what we order was correct. Had to call back to make sure we would receive a free soda as advertised on their menu. After receiving the order one of the dishes were missing food. Upon calling the restaurant back to ask for the missing food the employee’s response was “next time”. When asked what does that mean the employee went on to say he would send the missing food with our next order and hung up not even taking our information to honor what he offered. We called the restaurant back stating the food needs to be delivered tonight as that is what we paid for and they agreed to bring the food. The food was delivered at closing time. At this point we’d rather not eat the food. The food that was purchased was mediocre and the egg rolls were drenched in grease.
