every dispensary is great, and i never have any complaints about any cannabis dispensary i've ever been to. but i've also never bothered to take the time to compose and post a whole 5-star review for any of them.

until now.

this place rules. my drop dead gorgeous girlfriend went in last week while i waited in the car because i didn't have my wallet and therefore i didn't have my license and therefore i could not enter the building legally. when she got back in the car, she raved about her experience. she tried to describe it but ultimately it was something i just needed to see for myself.

and that was today, the day after my birthday, saturday, march 29, 2025.

i'm not going to describe the experience because i don't wanna ruin it for first-timers, but what i will say is that the staff on this particular day, at around 1pm, were wonderful. they were friendly and helpful sure, but somehow it went beyond that.

i'm not usually very chatty with the general public unless i'm high, but today i was sober as can be if you don't count my daily mental health prescribed medications, which i did remember to take today, and i had a very nice conversation with two of the budtenders (according to google that's the actual title of dispensary sales associates? LOL i love it). it felt like i was just chatting with some buddies. maybe they were just in particularly good moods. and maybe i'm just in a particularly good mood (did i mention my partner is GORGEOUS?). and maybe it's just a really nice day and we're all just trying to have a good time.

anyways, yeah, if you're in the west end/west boulevard area go to this dispensary for your cannabis and paraphernalia needs. it really truly is a "Sweet Spot"! 😉 (unless of course you already have a good plug in which case stick with that probably)

This has to be one of the prettiest most professional dispensaries I've been in. I've been a medical patient in MA and CT and have been in Dispensaries in almost every east coast state from ME to FL and it was the only one to ever have a pharmacist review my information and offer a consultation to ensure my needs were met. The staff was nice and professional. Only reason I took away a star is because they have a limited selection and higher prices for seemingly the same products. Their sales are fantastic so if you look online before going it's ABSOLUTELY worth it, but for regular priced items there are several other place around that can get you the same for lesser value. Two things worth noting however is a few strains are higher potency and weren't available elsewhere so it can be worth the money if thats what your looking for specifically. Second is when I called another dispensary with questions THEY suggested I go there instead. They gave me a super cute pair of sweatpants for a minor inconvenience on their end, that was truly not even a big deal. I'm going back for the shirt too because I can't say enough their apparel is ADORABLE! With medical patients getting discounts on Tuesday, I'm sure I'll be frequenting there. If you want high quality and professionalism with educated pharmacist and staff, I HIGHLY recommend going there. I went to The Sweatspot for the first time a few weeks ago and this dispensary is so very different than any I have been to. First of all it’s in a very safe location in West Hartford, and the building and decor is very clean and cheerful. Everyone I cane i to contact was warm and kind (including the security guard). I came with a little dog, and they also greeted her with such kindness.

Then I met El… El was WONDERFUL; professional and patient. She really listened to the symptoms I was looking to help with the medical weed. I asked for something to help me feel more joyful and creative (having chronic pain & going through a hostile divorce sometimes can be a lot sometimes) and she recommended “Happy Cappy” & let me tell you, I love that happy stuff ~ and think of El when I use it.
