Extremely overpriced! My husband and I stopped here for takeout. We both got a large container. we ended up paying $115. Didn’t even get anything to drink. My husband looked at the guy in shock and we were then told it was $23 per pound. We have visited this place previously over the last 2 years and paid $50-$60 for the same amount of food and drink for takeout. I understand there is inflation but this is pure robbery!!! A previous review mentioned charging more to those are not Brazilian and I would have to agree with that statement. I have been to other Brazilian takeout spots that don’t charge more that $15 per pound. They also charged me a surcharge for using my debit/credit card. Although the food is good and a good representation of Brazilian food, the prices have gone up tremendously in the past two years. Two years ago when I first went my friend and I ordered two large meals, weighed out to be just over $25. Went back and the same amount of food would cost more and more. Last night I went and got what I thought was a somewhat small order for the two of us again and it was at $50. Food is good but not worth it for the prices, go to the other Brazilian shops that are around there and get the same amount of food and items for $12… or go to Banana Brazil and have the same buffet of food for much cheaper. Delicious meat. Meat was juicy and fresh. Had adequate selection of side dishes, all of which were very tasty. The big turn off it's the price. Unless you separate your meat and have it weighed on its own you will pay the meat price for your plate. Haven't quite figured out the pricing yet, seeing how they never weighed my plate or meat. The wife had one small plate of food, one sausage and a small piece of steak. We also had a small plate with about five cut fruit. Total was over $40. Not sure how the came to that price.
