Subway — Restaurant in Hartford

I went to the Subway located in Flatbush Ave. Hartford CT. on 11/19/2023 at around 1pm. The service was terrible. If I could give ZERO stars I will. Lady taking orders was incompetent and extremely unprofessional and ghetto. I ordered 3 sandwiches. She had an attitude the entire time. On the final sandwich I ordered pickles. She put Jalapeños. I informed the worker politely that I only wanted Pickles not Jalapeños. She didn't remove the Jalapeños and just put pickles on top. I reiterated that I do not like Jalapeños and if she can remove them. She became combative stating that I ordered Jalapeños. She barely completed the order while looking at me attempting to intimidate me. I ended up leaving my order at the counter and left. Extremely unprofessional. There was another worker that was in the back during this entire fiasco. I'm disgusted with the service. I will never go back to that location. SUBWAY- please do better when hiring staff. You will lose serious business having employees like her...

I Love This Subway Location, By Far One of the Best. There were few people ahead of me but the kid on the line moved them in and out I didn't really wait at all, and the girl on the register was up selling and ring them out just as fast. I was ordering for my brother with special needs and He just Loves the Ham and Cheese Grinder with a little this and a little bit of that. Me I'm Steak and Cheese Tomato Wrap guy I like to load it up with Double Meat extra cheese 2 kinds. So I kind of knew what I wanted but the kid and I had a few laughs working through it. Thats what I Like About This Place Everyone is Friendly and Food is Fresh not like alot of places in Hartford. The place is always clean and smells nice too. Very rude employee. I tried to order a sandwich 10 minutes before they closed and he refused to make it for me because he "already cleaned up." I asked him if they were open until 10 and he said yes; which meant he would be open for 10 more mintues. He still refused to make me anything. I've worked in the service industry myself and know that if someone comes in 10 minutes before you're supposed to close you still serve them; not give them a huge attitude because you decided to close early.
