Wendy's — Restaurant in Hartford

Food is alright. I've finally had it with the terrible customer service here though. This has happened on more than one occasion so I figured I would share... They like to upcharge when they think you are not paying attention. I've let it go to see it would happen again and it has happened again and again and again. And I'm not one to get fast food a lot either. But the customer service here is TERRIBLE and I've had it. They have people in the drive through that are hanging out the drive through window on their phone, not able to ever work the register properly, a lot of them don't even understand that there is a Wendy's app. But of course they blame it on their computer system and then get an attitude with me. Maybe it is their computer system and it needs to be updated , I dunno. But I've never had this problem at any other Wendy's I have gone to. Honestly between the terrible customer service here and the broken computer system, I would avoid here all together. It's not worth the time or money they like to...

Wendy's is the go to for "late night hunger pains", kids didn't clean the kitchen so I'm not cooking or it's too damn hot to cook in this joint, nights. This location does get on my nerves sometimes. They are OFTEN out of something. I usually have a large order so I need a drink tray. They are often out of trays leaving me trying to figure out how to drive with up to 6 drinks. This happens with frosty availability, soda choices even bags to carry the food. I love a good Biggie bag but I feel like I have to travel outside of my community to get what I need from a Wendy's location.

I'm sure it's busy throughout the day. It's in the industrial part of Hartfords Southend and of course we have the homeless that solicit you while you are in the line or right near the window. Went to Wendy's about 10:45 PM on June 06, 2023 and was told immediately that they were closed. When it says online, your open till 2 AM Let me sit there almost ten minutes. And your closed, why is it your Sign still on open. Why is the drive through lit up? If you're closed, nothing should be lit and there should be No lights on. Poor service. Also went there on 5/3/24 was given wrong food after waiting ten minutes ordered Dave's single combo just cheese and ketchup and a 4 peice nugget and got no drink, no ketchup and cold fries worst wendiea of all time. Came here again on July 17th 2025, ordered my whole meal only to hear they are out of coke. How do you run out of coke. Manger needs training this place always seems to be out of...
