What a unique local diner typical for most small towns. It might remind you of a Seinfeld episode if you know about the soup. But if you don't know what you want, there's too much to know. Steak fingers are what they're known for and are good but not when you think about chicken fingers which sometimes is a softer meat with no gristle or fat. I did love the gravy. Also had onion rings and they're pretty solid.. batter could be just a little better.

If you want a nice and friendly place to stop and get a bite to eat, Double “A” Drive Inn is the place!! Conveniently located on 380 between Roswell and Dallas, this place has good hamburgers, fries, onion rings and steak fingers. I added lots of pepper to the gravy for the steak fingers As mentioned in other posts, the food needs seasoning. Adding pepper to the dipping sauce does the trick!! We’ll be stopping again!!

Small local eatery. Service is friendly as are the locals eating inside. I had to try the steak fingers which were good but just different as I’m not used to eating steak that way. Still good though as the batter was tasty and it wasn’t greasy.

Do NOT stop here. 🤮 So we came through Haskell, as we always do, when coming from NM. We wanted something other than DQ. We found Double A online. Seemed okay as we drove up. #1. Sour smell from sitting water outside or something as you walk up. #2. They close at 4, so we got there at 3:30, I know we were cutting it short, however, good business owners are there to please the customer, and this lady made it clear that “she would have to make some steak fingers” and it “would probably take longer than they would be opened.” “But we can fix chicken fingers for you.” #3. Let me tell you. We got on the road and THREW AWAY OUR FOOD. ABSOLUTELY NO SEASONING! Fries sucked, chicken fingers (if it was chicken) sucked and even the coke tasted weird. The gravy was flour and water paste. No kidding. My neice and I were traveling in a separate vehicle than my husband. We called him and he took the words right out of our mouths before we could say anything, he ate three fries and a piece of the toast and threw his away as well. So, in closing, maybe others have had a good experience, but we will never stop here again. Wasted money and it actually nauseated us. Double A needs...
