Hunan — Restaurant in Hastings

Had take out from Hastings Hunan's last night and it was terrible!!! Hunan's was always good but this experience I had to write about. I had Happy Family which has shrimp, scallops, chicken and pork with vegetables. It had three pieces of shrimp, no scallops at all, little pork and mostly chicken. It had no flavor and smelled odd. I took a couple of bites and threw it in the trash. My wife had Chicken and Snow Peas. It had no flavor, she took a couple of bites and tossed it. I called to complain and their answer was bring it back in and we will season it. When I told her mine had no scallops she had no answer and sounded like she didn't believe me. She made no attempt to rectify it except to say bring it back and we will put more seasoning on it. First off I'm not driving ten miles to have seasoning thrown on a poorly cooked meal and secondly the meal didn't have all the ingredients anyway!!! Well since many people were recommending Hunan I thought I would give them a shot after not eating there for over 7 years! Just as I remember! Yuck! Americanized Chinese! Fried dumplings, gross! Too much shell, nasty pork inside. Fried rice..nope.. no vegies no flavor. Mongolian beef, nasty sauce ( from a can maybe)over cooked meat. Why do people want non Chinese, Chinese food? And MSG explosion and headache in no time. Please make real Chinese food! Total shame when a buffet is...

It's a real bummer when you can't give zero stars. First, no plates, no napkins, and no plasticware. Food was boring. Crab rangoons were dryer than the desert I am from. The fried rice had no veggies. Just rice but not white. Not to mention, the first day I called they didn't even have fried rice. You are welcome for the fourteen dollar donation. And thanks for the worst Chinese food experience.
